I am in the same boat. Confused at how big I feel since my pants are so tight from 1 lb!

I am not going to give up though....

Dolphin4 Doug 03-27-2008 02:06 PM

Ok I weighed in this morning & the scale said 251.5 :) so for the 2 days I wanna say 1lb for tuesday & 2lbs for wednesday it was probably 3 for wednesday lol because I worked harder in my yard then I do in the gym.

LaurieDawn 03-27-2008 06:44 PM

I started on Sunday at 169. Today, I weighed in at 167. I held steady at 169 for a few weeks, and I tend to lose in blocks and then hang out for a while, so I am hoping that I will lose steadily for the next few days and win this challenge! (Though probably lose the next few after that...)

nothing is happening...

It's Friday and I haven't gained or lost a pound in days. :?: Not sure what's going on but trying to stay positive. I suspect that my weight loss follows a pattern similiar to LaurieDawn's. Let's hope so...:crossed:

:congrat: to everyone who has had a loss!

I have started training for a half-marathon, so I'm running a lot, which tends to be very good for my weight loss. I ran 5.3 miles on Thursday, and Friday's weight was 165. I held steady at 165 this morning. So - four pounds, with one more to go! I might win the challenge and get to start the next thread. I've had a good day with exercise and food, so maybe tomorrow....

Gracenote 03-29-2008 10:58 PM

Wow LaurieDawn! Great job with your weight loss! Looks like the persistence has paid off!

Mrs Snark 03-30-2008 08:41 AM

Great job LaurieDawn!

mtiger 03-30-2008 11:12 AM

Laurie-WOW! You must have hit your losing time. I am so like you. I will stay the same for weeks (2 or 3) and then lose a good chunk. I am going through that right now. I just go up and down a pound or so. Must be patient and stick with it.

I am 222.5 today.
SW 222.5

Help- I'm stuck!

Dina 556 03-30-2008 12:17 PM

That is great, Laurie!

I lost a lb. today.

SW: 209
CW: 207
Goal: 204

Thanks for the encouragement, Dina, Tyler and Grace! Yep, mtiger, I'm with you. I just have to remember that it is indeed worth it to stay on plan when I go through the droughts. I had popcorn at the movie theater last night (I usually insist my husband not get it, but I feel guilty about that after a while), so I wasn't brave enough to weigh this morning, even though I also ran 3 miles and swam 1 mile. Even when I know a 2 or 3 pound gain is fluid retention, it still messes with my head. So, though I don't know if I gained, I'm afraid I did, so I'll stay on plan today, drink my water, and hope for the best tomorrow. The popcorn was so not worth it, but it won't be the last bad choice I make. Hopefully, the good choices will fix my bad choice.
