"Catch Lucky WEED Challenge"

"Lean & Green WEED Challenge"

"Erin Go Bra-less WEED Challenge"

Woke up feeling plum goofy this morning - can ya tell?

Determined to regain my mindful eating sanity today - reading your Posts has really helped gals - Tx! It's just been a stressful time at work is all I can think of - and have reverted to my old late nite eating bonanzas - *insert eye roll emoticon*

On my way into the "city" . . . taking Tess (10) to get two baby teeth pulled (she got her retainer yesterday-Oh to be able to stop her from growing up & becoming a "Big Girl" - *sigh*) She's phobic about dentists - so doesn't know what's up . . . this is a "Pediatric" Dentist - takes a lot of time with the patients so cross your fingers for us.

Soooooo happy for you jen! I recently moved down a couple of sizes but am creeping back toward "uncomfortableness" in one of them - gottagottagotta get a grip!

Shout outs to grazer, lumi, mmavis & holyT! Glad you were able to Ride the Storm Out jcat!

Wonder where clykk & nursemichelle are? Hope it's a "happy" kind of mia . . . usually when I'm not around here it's not! LOL!

Packing up some waters for the road . . . ttyal!

W: Mindful

E: Stairs & Pilates later . . . hope to take doggie on another adventure walk if I get back in time.

E: Get a grip aud!

D: Mindful

Happy Wednesday everyone!!

Jen - Nice job on the jeans!! (I think I fit into a 12 in 7th grade ) Doesn't it feel great when you don't plan a NSV, but it happens anyway?

lumi - I have the same philosophy about tickers. I don't believe that they were made to go up, just down, even if only in my mind.

jcat - Get moving, girl!! Sometimes you can get by with so-so eating as long as you get your workouts in. Don't give up on us!

Grazer - Don't you just love that term muffin top? (As long as it's in reference to someone else)

holyT - Someday you'll have to teach us to bellydance. maybe we can set up a bellydance WEED challenge!

aud - Love the suggestions for naming the next challenge! You keep me in stitches!! Love to see your posts. And where are clykk and nmichelle?

mmavis - Hope you made it through breakfast and lunch. Just dinner to go. Keep it rolling!!

Got to change my ticker this AM - AGAIN!! Down to 309. Only 4 more to meet my challenge. A little unrealistic to think I can do it by Monday, but I've redirected my eating to when I was really strict at the beginning of my weightloss. I'm down 3 lbs since Monday. I'm walking now, which I wasn't doing then, and really trying to drink water (although not very successfully). I'm still going to go for it. Next thing you know, I'll have a 2 at the beginning of my weight. That hasn't happened in about 10 years. I think I can, I think I can ....

W - 38 oz
E - 1.75 miles on treadmill done
E - strictly on plan
D - staring the 200's straight in the eye with determination!!

Here I am! Here I am!! What a slacker I've been lately! But I'm up now and dressed to go to the gym. Ate my Wt-control oatmeal and 4 oz OJ and a Red Bull (RB is gross, you know that? But I need a big boost to get my lethargic *** to the gym) My house is EMPTY of diet/healthy foods. I've been so bad so long, I even stopped buying fruits that would rot in the fridge. So it's going to be a challenge. We are flat BROKE too, no grocery store til Friday at least. But I work tonight and tomorrow night, so no mindless noshing for me. And I can make healthy choices at the hospital cafeteria, big salad and fruit bar. And gym today, tomorrow, friday and saturday. So I'm off to a HUGE start.

I haven't even read last week's threads, so when I get back from the gym, I'll catch up. Hope you are all doing well. I'm totally in for a St. Pattys day challenge (Erin go Bra-less? Really? I laughed right out loud on that one!) How many weeks is that? I guess I have to change the ticker too, yikes. 240 lbs. this morning. Gotta be honest with myself. But my theory about that is this extra 10-15 put on so fast, should come off kind of fast.

Love you all. xoxoxoxo Michelle

So many posts since I signed on yesterday! I tried to check last night, but the site was being soooooooo slowwwwwww, and I gave up. This was a nice treat.

Grazer - we could both be comfy in size 12s! The muffin top is an issue, but I also think that's because jeans are still cut too low - anyone over a size 6 could have a muffin top.
Aud - Hilarious names! My "ladies" could never go bra-less, but I still love the name of the challenge!

Today is packed with busy - I have to give an extra lecture tonight, and I haven't actually written it yet. So not sure what the exercise plan is . . . we'll see.

Today's WEED:
W - 2L
E - I'll try to get in something this afternoon.
E - Don't stuff myself
D - Get this silly lecture over with

Have a good evening, everyone!

Aud- How'd your dd make out at the ped dentist? Enjoyed reading your suggestions for the next challenge.

MusicT- I like the suggestion you gave about so-so eating and exercise balancing that at times. It motivated me to get some cardio in despite my rotten eating today.

JenM- Here's to size 12s!!

Hi Clykk and NurseM- I'm with you on the slippery slope!!

For the last week of the challenge I'm not eating as clean as I should be. Too many sweet snacks and today I had take out. I've managed to get two days of cardio in and one Pilates. Maybe I'll make goal by Christmas EVE if I don't gain this week. Oh well, T'is the season and PMS to boot!

Tryin' to pull it together for tomorrow:

W-64 oz
E- Mindful and fewer sweets
E- cardio or pilates
D- It's only PMS. Snack on a carrot stick.

I'm with JenM, bra-less in public, not an option, but I love the thought and the name.
I was just thinking this morning, I want to refocus on the C25K.
I am going to need to get to a treadmill as it is too cold and crappy here. (Last winter I fell on the ice, many months of crap to get back to a somewhat normal right knee!)
But there is a 10 mile race here 4th of July weekend, and I want to run in it.
It runs along the shores of Lake George from the town of Lake George to Bolton Landing. I want to run it in little shorts and a sports bra. I need to be down around 120 to be able to do that and not look really scary.
There's my long range goal. I'm am going to get there and I hope you are all still with me and we are all so much closer to goal .

WOW! Does running through all your posts count as a workout??? well I did walk 11.27 miles at work today. I am EXHAUSTED!! half of that was running up and down ladders and stair cases (today we had a few troubles). Eating was really really good, but water was low (I forgot to take my water bottle in with me.) after dinner I think my total calories will be about 1300.

As far as extra workouts go? well I need to kick my butt back to the gym. Im thinking of having my sister babysit for an hour so I can go workout without worring about Tommy crying the whole time while at the Y's daycare. You would think that after getting up at 2 am getting up at 6 would be a BREEZE! but its not. I have a harder time getting up at 6 than 2, weird huh. OK stop gabbing and cook dinner. I am Hoping to go to bed early tonight so I better eat soon.

Happy Healthy Day everyone!

OH Tomorrow's weed?

W 80 oz ( don't forget the water bottle)
E 30 minutes of intentional exercise maybe get up early and do pilates.
E 1300 cals (Regular eating plan)
D make it through the day without STRESS!!! do my job, not everyone elses! (ive been told to chill out! so I am only doing MY classified job. the one in my job description I am no longer going to do the work of 2 people!!!!!~!!!!!!!!!!~!!!!!!!!!~!!!!!!! I stuck to that today and guess what IT STILL GOT DONE< someone else did it HURRAY

Hey everyone. So my first week in SA is about to come to a end and I have seen NOTHING! I've just been trying to survive in a tiny hotel room with four other people, without my car, without shooting myself. LOL But Mama found a apartment today so soon I will have some peace! And I'm going up to get my car this weekend so I will be able to start exploring this new city. This week has been crappy eating wise also. I had NO money coming down here so I've had to eat what my fam has and let me tell you WHITE BREAD SUCKS! Ugh! Maybe I've gotten spoiled on wheat bread. Can't wait till I get paid this weekend and get some REAL food!

Woot Woot !! 24 hrs on plan!! Woot Woot !!

I'm up, I'm eating my oatmeal and 4 oz OJ (again, the only "fruit" in my house) water and off to the gym I'll be going. My arms, chest are SORE from punishing them yesterday at the gym so....BUTT, HIPS, LEGS, I'm coming for you! Watch out!

Plus I saw 238 this morning on the scale. So hopefully the recent addition of 15 pounds will not be sticking around.

Audie, how did the pedi dentist go? I'm so lucky, our family dentist is extra gentle, so we haven't need the specialist (luckily haven't needed that kind of work done yet either!) and the kids do well with him.

What is on everyone's holiday wish list? I honestly did not have anything on mine. I of course, do the Bath n Body stuff, perfume, etc. but nothing specific. I asked for one of the Biggest Loser seasons on DVD, and Mike was like "why would you want THAT!?" (well for motivation if I lack it once in awhile! But sheesh!) But I saw the informercial for The Firm, Transfirmer (?) and thought that was a good workout. But again, I suck at working out at home. So I dunno. I really wanted a nice BIG ring...for it being my 10 year anniversary, Christmas, and in spite of his recent indiscretion. But we do NOT absolutely just do NOT have the money. That in fact, if I got it, I'd probably be like WTH? and be all mad to be that far in debt. Or maybe feel heartbroken for not getting it and wanting it that bad! Can't please a woman can ya?

To the gym Michelle Ten HUT! xoxoxoox Michelle

Hi its me again! Cooling off after the gym, watering up and relaxing a minute. Shower, get kids, fix dinner, back to work. Babysitter coming tonight since Mike is at bowling (this little league, after work, every other thursday) I hope to eat well tonight, work, sleep and get back up and back to the gym tomorrow. Oh, and I'm thinking about taking a Zumba class at the gym. What is that anyways? Is it like salsa dancing? Either way, my goal will be to take a class of some sort one or two days next week, mix it up a bit.

Off to the shower. Love and motivation to all. xooxoxoxoo Michelle
