W.O.W. Labor Day Challenge, Eighth and FINAL WEEK!

HERE WE GOOOOOOOO!!! Last week for the challenge! Are you going to make it? I gotta BRAG~ I lost THREE pounds this week! Next week I should DEFINITELY see 22_ !

Tough weekend at work this weekend. But at least some of the drama has died down. Of course thanks to SOME of US who took on extra work while others could work less. But I digress.

So...one more week. Did we vote on our next challenge or shall I just throw out an invitation for say...a Halloween challenge? How many weeks between Labor Day and Halloween? about eight?

Tonight is Meet Robert's Teacher Night at school. Get myself to the gym, clean up, get kids from daycare, make dinner, get to the school. Robert goes to the dentist tomorrow morning and we might get in some shopping for school clothes and BACK TO SCHOOL WEDNESDAY! I'll post some pics as soon as I figure out how. LOL

Should be at the gym. Boring post today? LOL Love to all...xoxooxox Michelle

glitterlicious 08-27-2007 02:54 PM

wow....I cant believe its the last week already...

I'm definetly in for a Halloween challenge. It'll help me on my goal of fitting into a cute costume this year...I want to look amazing.

I'm also going to do the biggest loser...is anyone else thinking about joining?

musictchr 08-27-2007 07:07 PM

I'm really awful at waiting until Monday to weigh myself. I'm one of those people that can't walk past the scale each AM without stepping on. Thank goodness it's been very kind to me lately. :goodscale I lost 4 lbs this week, all at the beginning. Had another brownie sundae this weekend, but kept up the walking and good eating the rest of the time, so was able to stay the same weight. If I can't make the final 2 pounds to my mini-goal, something's drastically wrong!

Glad things have calmed down at work, michelle. And sending Robert off to school each day must warm the cockles of your heart! (Boy, is that a grandma saying, or what?!) Our school doesn't start until next week, but I'll be going in quite a bit this week in preparation.

glitter - Is there a Biggest Loser thread, or is this something you cooked up? It's definitely something that I'd like to check out. As I've told you all before, I'm hooked on the reruns of the program - I watch while I'm on the treadmill.

aud - Putting all of your energy into the final push, huh? It's never too late! I'm with you on going for Halloween, then Thanksgiving. I actually would like to be at or near a total of 80 lbs by the time I go to the dr. the week after Thanksgiving, so these little challenges will be great!

Tomorrow's WEED:
W: 6 glasses
E: AM smoothie, lunch salad, dinner rice & pink lentils, fruit for snacks
E: 40 minutes on treadmill
D: school in AM, afternoon by the pool, teach piano lessons

JasonsLea 08-27-2007 08:19 PM

Hey everyone! I'm all for a Halloween challenge too! Congrats Michelle!

jcatron243 08-27-2007 08:43 PM

Halloween is fine by me!

I cant believe this challenge has gone by so fast. Of course I am still holding at 160 (although I have seen a 159) my great back to the gym weekend was spoiled by a maintainence shut down but hey I went, just couldn't get in. I have been working out a bit at home, stretches and pilates for about 20 minutes a day. DH really wants me back at the gym and is being so supportive. I threw my back out a couple of weeks ago and I am still trying to get it in right. Hopefully 3rd times a charm for the chiropractor.

OOO I got a new tattoo this weekend! It was for my 6th wedding anniversary, its a dragonfly sitting on some vines, on my lower back. It turned out beautiful! (my 6th one in case you are wondering). Everyone have a great day I hope to post a small loss by labor day!!!

Clykk 08-27-2007 10:20 PM

TOM is in the building!

w/i - up two pounds. TOM showed up this morning for the w/i. Do I blame the 2 pounds on him for hopping on the scale with me or on me for bringing many extra calories into the race this past 3 weeks? Hmm! I guess one week will reveal the truth.

I am so PROUD of all of you who are mere pounds away from your goal! GOOD ON YA!! Keep going!!! I'll catch up eventually.

Halloween challenge sounds good.

aud 08-28-2007 04:50 AM

w00t!:carrot: Had another LC w00000shhhh of Fat B Gone! Just UNREAL! Gotta remember this excited feeling when I hit the inevitable wall/plateau but feeling good to be 6# past goal!!:o

I'm glad the work drama calmed down too, nchelle . . . still going strong at the Peyton Place I work at! So glad I'm not dealing with it negatively anymore (read: cramming my face full!)

I'm bushed so ttyal . . . APB's being sent out for holyT & all of our WEED'ers!

Holyteror 08-28-2007 08:58 AM

i'm here, just slow.......been getting my craft room organized and my desk cleared off so i can use it for school stuff. i start school today :) haven't even bothered to WI since TOM's on the way. I won't come close to making my goal but.........I did exercise at least 5 times a week this go around. that's better than nothing i hope. I've gotta run, i'll send out personals etc later on..........

glitterlicious 08-28-2007 10:32 AM

D: Accepting the things I CANNOT change at work!

Holyteror 08-29-2007 08:58 AM

oh boy ladies....

i left work early to get a few errands completed before i could get home and get set up with school. sign downtown said it was 104 outside.

I get home, and the power failed. we had no flippin air for about an hour and a half. i couldn't sign on to school. called my enrollment counselor, told him what was going on, etc. i'll do the walk thru with him this afternoon.

it was hot. no breeze, no a/c...no nothin. i might've sweat off a few pounds though LOL

halloween sounds great. what are we doing again? ROFL

gotta run and get in the shower and get ready for work. i'm so tired though, couldn't get comfy, couldn't sleep, too hot :(

so have a super day and stay cool!!!!

Clykk 08-29-2007 10:47 AM

aud:bravo::cp::cp::cp::cheer::broc::broc::congrat:

I can't remember where everyone started weight wise. Let's be sure to post the change in weight on the last weigh in, OK? Something like what weight were you when you started the challenge. What was your goal. And what weight are you at the end of the challenge.

I am assuming Aud that you are 6# past the Labour Day Challenge goal? If so, are you the first to meet (and exceed) your goal? If so, CONGRATS!!!

I ran for 20 minutes straight today. I just finished the 5th week of the c25k. It was an easy run. YEAH for me!!:whoo:

W - 8
E - Run
E - OP
D - I have a steady routine of exercise and water intake. This is a great change in my lifestyle!

aud 08-29-2007 12:49 PM

Tx for the emoticon jolt, clykkie! And a :carrot: to you on your run! Can't imagine running even ONE minute at this point - sounds like an awesome program - one that I definitely am going to look into when I get to a more "doable" running size!

Had a run in with some pbj & graham crackers in the Wee . . . gosh they were good!:D Gonna keep up my new trend of just Keep On Keeping On when I stray OFFPlan - and keep getting my WEED-On:

W: 64oz +

E: Continue

E: Back OP

D: Had a treat - so what? You're doing great auddie ole girl!

NurseMichelle 08-29-2007 02:35 PM

:DG'Mornin my WEEDies. I should be at the gym but I am NOT feeling it. <WARNING excuses ahead!> Today was Robert's first day of 2nd grade (!) and I worked last night, got him to school (the bus whizzed right by us? HELLO!?) and got home so tired I fell asleep in the recliner instead of going up to bed and now I'm still tired, and my neck is all wonky. Plus I only have like 15 pages left of the 5th Harry Potter and would like to finish it and pick up the next one today. But I'll go, I PROMISE, after dinner. I think I'll just wake up now with my girls and a cuppa coffee.

Audie you are BLOWING US AWAY! Way to go blasting your goal out of the water! You are AWESOME! :carrot:

Clykky, really now. Easy running?!? Isn't that an oxymoron? GOOD FOR YOU! I love, love, love, that even if you don't feel like you're completely on plan, that you're still running! And you know how the rest of us feel about running. LOL That's so great. And ahem, Audie, you DO NOT have to "wait until you are a reasonable size" to start running! Of course, all my jiggle doesn't run, but I've seen some big people running.

Glitter!!! I see you, buried under all those schoolbooks over there! Is Amy under there too!? How's the first week of classes? When's your first test? Oh and I have done TBL a while ago (I was on a winning red team) I gotta tell ya, though, if I go into too many challenges, I either burn myself out or just don't commit enough to one of them. I'm usually a hit-or-miss poster anyways, let alone trying to keep up. I know, I know, what a whiner. I'm more of a lurker and a WEED girl. I get though, that you can never get enough support. Good luck to those of you all who do it though! I'll peek over there and watch how you do!

Amy, have I toldja lately how PROUD I am of you~getting this back to school thing together at what seemed like the LAST minute and look at you now! IN CLASS! Yeah baby! :book2: <---new emoticon just for YOU! Maybe you'll find weight loss easier in a way, you'll be really structured, in a routine, and you won't get bored enough to cheat or do the mindless eating thing. Whatta gal! OMG our A/c went out a couple of nights ago too, apparently the filter needed changed and there was actual ICE on the unit and on the thing outside. Luckily, the evening was cooler (DH said it was still too hot but I was okay) and we got it fixed that day, changed the filter and waited for the ice to melt, LOL. I love that smell your house gets opening the windows, but not when it's so hot and muggy. And I can't imagine living where you do without AC! Ohio at least can get cool enough!

GRAMMPAULA, where are you?! Freckles!? Freequegirl??? RowdyBliss(SUZ!)??

Musictchr! So lucky you have another week before school starts! I can't wait to hear after your first day, all the compliments and fusses you're going to encounter! You are going to feel so great! You're doing awesome! And I'm right there with ya, weighing in every day. It's frustrating but it helps me be aware of the sodium/salt I take in and how it affects my daily weights. So nothin wrong with that, if you can handle a little fluctuation, eh? I'm afraid of how I'll feel floating around 198-202 lol, ONederland, OutofONederLand. It'll be a harrowing time, won't it.

Jen----hey girlie, I saw you pop in there! Glad to hear you've been exercising~ how frustrating the gym being closed for maintanence that ONE weekend. Of course, to me that would've been McDonalds time (LOL just kiddin!) but good for you! I keep thinking that now it's getting cooler maybe I should try this whole c25k thing, and take the running to an OUTDOOR track. I didn't know you hurt your back! When I worked at the factory (did I tell you guys I spent two summers as a WELDER while in nursing school? People think that's hilarious!) my back hurt all the time, we wore those industrial back support belt things that look like abdominal binders with criss cross backstraps. I loved my visits with the chiropractor though, except for the cracking part. Good luck with that, though, I'm always nervous messing around with a bad back. Luckily, losing weight and getting stronger has helped and I don't have any pain anymore. I LOVED those Heat patches 12 hr of heat but I'd get too warm to sleep or work in them, but they felt so GOOD. AND I didn't know you were a tattoo mama! Your newest ink sounds cool! I SO SO SO SO SO want a tat, but just want it to be so perfect, so unique, and I am a bit afraid of the pain, but I'll do it! Maybe when I hit Onederland or some equally important goal.

OMG I'm tired. Anyone I missed? I'm sorry! I am missing some of our friends though! Off to finish HP:witch:

musictchr 08-29-2007 02:56 PM

:broc::cheer::broc::carrot::broc::cheer::broc:

I owe you all a huge thank you. :thanks: Your support and encouragement has been fantastic this summer. You've all been so welcoming that I'm looking forward to the Halloween Challenge.

I made it!! I reached my Labor Day goal at this AM's weigh in. Total of 50 lbs gone since May 15. That's only about 25% of my big goal, but I cannot describe how great I feel. I'm such a wuss - I'm actually crying as I type this, so you'll have to forgive any typos. For the first time in over 15 years, I feel like I have some control over myself and my body. I realize that there's still a long way to go, but I really feel as if this is do-able.

Here's the 2nd part - I had to go to school today to start preparations for next week, and had a TON of compliments. I guess what they say about 50 lbs being the "noticeable point" is true when you start out at 300+. In a really selfish way, I can't wait to go back on Tuesday, when everyone's there, to hear more!

aud - A huge WTG on being past your goal!! :yay: :yay:

clykk - Great idea about everyone posting their starting and finishing point. I can't remember everyone's either.

My Labor Day Challenge starting weight was 350 - as of today, I'm 330!!

Holyteror 08-29-2007 11:33 PM

Michelle,
Thanx so much for the support. Sometimes it's hard to get that around here. *someone's* still panicked that my degree won't pay for itself...makes it real hard on top of all the mess he leaves for me to take care of after i get off work *sighs* No wonder i don't lose weight. I can at least say I have been getting exercise in at least 5 days a week since mid july.

It's 8:30 and 94 degrees inside my house. Landlord's too cheap to put in AC.

Let's talk about goals ladies. My coworkers and I committed to participating in the summer slim down contest at work. I have one in my department who's been losing the weight, exercising, eating right. She's the one i go workout with.

It was recently requested by the majority of the participants to extend the contest for another month. None of them have been working to achieve the weightloss/inchloss for the end of the contest. The majority vote won. I'm frustrated, if they didn't work hard for 3 months to win the prize money, what makes them think they deserve another month? What about those of us who *have* been working out and eating right? My coworker and I are the only ones who don't want to extend the contest. I just have a feeling these people who haven't been doing anything useful may end up using whatever diet pills or stupid stuff like that to try and drop the weight to win. Or you know how sometimes you start a new diet plan and lose the weight real quick at first? That's what worries me. I just don't think it's right.

It's been a long day. I couldn't sleep last night from the heat....DH needs to be hosed off outside before he goes to bed.....

jcatron243 08-30-2007 12:09 AM

Michelle, I didn't actually hurt my back at work. I went to a water park and went down a water slide, but I DID NOT SLIDE, I FELL! :) :) it had a big big drop! anyhow I suffered for a week and no over the counter pain meds helped. Now I am better. I will try to post a pic of my Tat if I can get a decent one.

Took Makie to the Doc today, thinking she had a UTI, but good news, NOTHING! DH the kids and I just spent the day together after that!!!

W not quite my 80 oz but close
E walking, stretching,
E not too bad!
D just to be with my family!

Tomorrow,
W 80 oz
E 45 minutes of gym time
E 1300 cals
D get to the gym, pick up the house, soak in some sun, get to bed on time eat right, drink right,. . . . .

Clykk 08-30-2007 10:35 AM

Checkin' In

musictchr - Crying over the realization of the hard work you put in to reduce 50 pounds from your frame, does not make you a wuss!! It is a HUGE victory. You know how the athletes in the Olympics cry when they come in first place? I see your victory the same way. It is not an easy thing that you have done. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

W - 8
E - Rest - I woke up with a sore throat!
E - Fruit till noon
- Carrot juice and a veggie wrap for lunch
- Hamburger without the bun, salad and steamed veggies for dinner.
- Fruit for snacks
D - Let's make this an OP day!!

NurseMichelle 08-30-2007 02:10 PM

Hey girls! Hows it going? Rainy Thursday here. DH has a nice trip tonight. His company is letting them off work at 1:00, giving them a picnic lunch and BEER (of all things!) then onto a tour bus (more BEER) then up to a Cleveland Indians baseball game, where they're each allotted two draft beers (they're big!) So lucky him! And lucky me, easy night tonight, just me and the kidders. Maybe we'll get pizza. JUST KIDDIN.

Freeque, I tell ya, I CAN SEE A DIFFERENCE. You've taken INCHES off your waist! It's so obvious! If you feel frustrated LOOK AT THESE PICS! Whatta change! In only a few weeks! Keep up the hard work, and make sure you set a new goal for the Halloween challenge.

Clykky, hope the sore throat is better.

WEED
W- 3-4 liters
E- can't get to the gym, no DH to watch the kids
E- JUST OP, no cheating just because no DH LOL
D- Enjoy my night off work, get the house clean, maybe board games with the kids.

glitterlicious 08-30-2007 03:22 PM

Hey everyone...I had a little too much fun last night but I'm still here.

W- Lots...due to a hangover. Lol.
E- Trying to stay OP with Slim Fast Optima, but I don't really have an appetite for anything today
E- 2 hours volleyball practice
D- Last night was fun, today I'll recover, and then it's back tothe old routine.

aud 08-30-2007 03:37 PM

IA with chelle, frequeeG . . . your waist is definitely DEFINED now - plus tum looks flatter! Ahhh . . . to be young again . . . beautiful skin . . . plus could party like it's 19glitter99!!:dizzy:;)

As it is . . . I'm old . . . sick as a proverbial dog and on my way to work after leaving early last nite with this ICCCCKKK bug I've got . . . stopped at Urgent Care and got amoxicillin and indulged in some comfort eating which pi$$es me off to no end today.

Tx for the kind words musicT! Not to mention the darling array of emoticons!!! LOVE 'em!:dizzy: Hope I've inspired you as you & all WEED'ers have inspired me.

Now must correct the faulty thinking damage with a hit O'WEED:

W: Stay hydrated

E: OP soups

E: Walk - but don't overdo

D: Be kind and nurture sick self w/o thinking of junk food as a "reward," auddie!

Holyteror 08-30-2007 09:28 PM

DH has just informed me that unless something comes up at the end of the enlistment he's about to sign in november...we will be a USAF family for another 10 years. You guys have no idea what it's like to not be the typical military wife. I am VERY upset about this.

I'm glad I'm going to school now. I'll have to find a better job while waiting on him....AGAIN!

on a better note, you girls are doing great. Free you look awesome :) They are officially moving the date of the final to the slim down challenge. It's been extended to mid October I guess. Maybe i can get up off my butt and do more work. We discussed it with the lady who's running it today. She said that it was obvious no one else has been working at it, and if she had to announce the winners it would be me and my coworker.

So now's our chance to really put the work into it, and really make a difference.

glitterlicious 08-31-2007 11:09 AM

hey everyone....3 days until labor day...are you ready for it??? I was 2.5 pounds away from my goal weight of 205 for the challenge, so I should hopefully reach that at my next weigh in on Sunday.

And I definetly can't wait until the Halloween challenge...where I'll hopefully move from being overweight to my normal weight range and even closer to my final goal.

W- 8-10 glasses. I've been slacking in the H2O department later with being busy for classes and such so today i will make an extra effort to drink up.
E- Volleyball Tournament :) (2 matches)
E- Slim Fast Optima diet
D- My actions in the next couple of days will have a direct impact on my ability to reach my goal or not...and I am going to make it. I'd hate to fall a couple pounds short due to laziness.

Clykk 08-31-2007 12:21 PM

Day two with this sore throat/cold. No exercise for me. I like to rest my body when it is sick.

I had a pretty OP day yesterday except for the bowl of oreo cookie ice cream. I'm proud of myself for doing as good as I did.

Today, I eat fruit until dinner and then pork chops, potatoes and steamed veggies for dinner.

A little behind on my water intake today. Time to catch up!

musictchr 08-31-2007 12:54 PM

My god, glitter - YOU ARE GORGEOUS!!!!!! I loooove your new picture! Thinking back to the first picture I saw of you, what makes the most impact is the obvious change in attitude. I could tell at the beginning of the challenge that you were kind of uncomfortable with your picture. In your updated picture you've become quite the diva, and deservedly so! Congratulations on your progress.

freeq - By looking at your pictures, I'd guess a huge loss of pounds. You must be really feeling it in your clothes, if not seeing a difference on the scale. Your tummy's nearly flat! I love that you have the courage to take a picture without layers covering everything. Good for you!

aud - I hope you're feeling better. And yes, you have inspired me. When I posted the last time, I was having trouble putting everything into words, and didn't include all I wanted. Just know that I've gotten to the point where I talk to my friends about all of you as if you are my "face to face" friends. It's kind of creepy, actually! They think I'm a little off center about it.

clykk - Thanks for understanding my emotional outburst. It really does take someone who's gone through something similar to understand. Hope you're feeling better soon - is it something in the water around here?

holyt - You must be glad that you made the decision to go to school. You've shown your strength by making it this far, so I'm sure you'll survive the next enlistment. Keep up the good work with your weight loss - show those procrastinaters at work that they can extend the date all they want - you'll still kick their #$@.

nursie - Nice trip for DH - and he didn't even invite you? ;) Have fun with the kids - one last bit of down time before the official end of summer. I saw your thread about the Hallowwwn challenge - I'm going right now to reply!

W - 5 glasses
E - 40 min treadmill
E - lunch salad, dinner veggie stir fry
D - Sort through "fat clothes" and figure out what I can still use for school

aud 08-31-2007 02:14 PM

I'm still sick too clykkie.:( The Doc called it a "Back To School" thing . . . some of the folks at work who have it went into bronchitis & two went on into pneumonia so I'm taking mega amoxicillin. Came home early again last nite and DID gets lots & lots of rest/good sleep - ready to return to The Land Of The Living - will have the same WEED/goals as yesterday.

Hang in there HolyT! Sucks about the Fitness Challenge catering to those who didn't even make an effort - IA with MusicT that'll be good incentive for you to Kick Their Azzez . . . again!;)

I have a really good friend at work & we used to virtually BLOG each other DAILY about the goings on/work drama/life drama etc . . . now I spend my computer time here @ 3fc she's feeling neglected - but I just had to tell her this is soooo much healthier for me, ya know? That I feel close to my cyber friends that are on the same quest . . . I bet the look she gave me is similar to your friends reaction Music!:o I think she thinks I'm some kind of Chat Room Freak now or something!:dizzy: You mentioned going thru clothes . . . I've sort of promised myself that THIS TIME - as I go thru the literally 7 SIZES in my closet - the largest are going to be THROWN or GIVEN AWAY! What say you?

nChelle: During my sick time - I've finished HP 1/2 Blood Prince (GREAT READ!) and 1/4 way thru Deathly Hallows - soooo sad that its ending:( . . . I truly see what all the fuss was about all this time!

jcatron243 08-31-2007 10:05 PM

Hi gals, well I doubt I will post any loss (again) on this challenge, but I am okay with that. I am getting back on track with my exercise and I will keep it up and follow through for the next challenge. I hope to post some sort of a loss.

I did make it back to the gym!!!!! 2 days in a row. I even did pilates before work this morning. (it would have been funny to anyone else, I was doing pilates at 2am) I got in 2 good cardio workouts, 30 minutes each I cant wait until I can work my way back up to 60 minutes. I hope you all have a great labor day weekend! I'll try to check in on monday!

Clykk 09-01-2007 09:34 AM

Disappointed and frustrated

I wish I could be as OK about not losing weight as you are, jcatron243. I was at the doctor's yesterday and stepped on the scale. The same scale that let me move my ticker to 154 with confidence. I am officially up 2 pounds to 156, so I will change my ticker. That means, I have lost 1 pound this challenge. Boy, this weight loss takes VIGILANCE! I am frustrated, I have to say. Not because I don't understand what I have to do, but because I am pretty doubtful I can change as much as I need to over the long haul.

I will input my WEED program, but the way I feel right now, I doubt I will follow through. Nice start, eh?

carolyn, I wasn't always okay about not losing but I have had practice. I worked out for an hour 5 days a week, watched my calories but still nothing. Then I started 12 hour shifts and let my workouts slide, but I still watch my calories. I have found a good maintainence level for food so now I am going to be adding workouts back in and cutting back a little on food. My goal at this time is to lose 1 pound a month until my disney trip which is in 3 years. If I can make that I will be THRILLED!!!

Today I got in
W80oz
E20 minute pilates
E 1250 cals
D I didn't make it to the gym after work :( but I will get some time in with my weights at home before bed!

Hey Jeni,

I guess it was just you and I today. I started feeling less down on myself by noon today. I guess it was just that getting to 154 was so exhilarating because I hadn't been there for a long, long time and suddenly 5 more pounds down seemed so attainable...and then I gained. I got overly excited prematurely.

I remember 20 years ago when I strove to change my lifestyle, I lost 10 pounds in about a month. Mind you, I didn't cheat at all. Now I am finding it so hard to stay OP for a day at a time! But, I suppose it will have a more lasting effect if I have to figure out at this point in the game what it will take to change my lifestyle item by item. And then, of course, there are the NSV. I have upped my water intake to 2 litres a day consistently. I work out consistently. And with the eating, I guess I have to keep tweaking my goals because I don't find that as easy to be consistent with. I am sure it will become clear to me how to deal with my eating tomorrow if I will just give myself a chance to listen to my inner guide. I'll do that tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, I am off to Great Wolf Lodge in the morning and won't be back until Monday night. I will record my final weight when I return and then see you WEEDers in the Halloween thread.

Morning everyone! Is it me or is time just flying by? Seems I might be moving sooner than I thought. Going to call Tuesday to see if I can get a transfer and might be moving at the end of this month.

ok, so i was 201.5 in my weigh in this morning, but I drank last night and am totally dehydrated.

Since that is throwing my numbers wayy off I have decided to get rehydrated today and weigh in tomorrow morning instead, which makes sense because its labour day anyways.

I'm w/i tomorrow too - we were just chatting in the lc Thread about anti-biotics effect on w/loss . . . Water intake hasn't been as good as when I'm at work - going to do something about that today.

PS: I've been meaning to say that I'm not being coy or self conscious when I say that I CANNOT run at this weight - I just reallyreally cannot physically run/trot/jog right now (220's):o . . . I had to run home that one day with Pup in the rain and my knees and shins felt it for days afterward!:( soooo - it'll be a few more lbs down b4 I contemplate the Y2k . . . C2K . . . whatever the name program that sounds like such a great plan many of you have Posted about. In the past, I was able to play a fairly good game of tennis around 180lbs - may be a good weight to start the program for me - w/o ending up injured, ya know?:?:

jcatron243 09-02-2007 09:09 PM

Carolyn, I lost most of my weight in a quick spell, then it started coming off more slowly, not due to lack of exercise, but my diet would be good, the not good. Plus I got a new job in February so my entire schedule was thrown off. I went from working out 2 times a day (60 minutes each) to once a day, then as my schedule went from eight hours to twelve hours I just stopped going to the gym. SO it is my fault I haven't lost weight recently but I am back up for the challenge.

Aud, Yeah my back is better, thanks for asking but I am still babying it once I start to feel any pulling back there I back off on whatever I am doing.

Got in most of my weed today (again!!!)

W 32 oz
E 20 minutes
E 1400 cals
D getting in WEE!
