AH, another exercise challenge. Unfortunatly my attempt at a December Exercise Challenge failed miserably but i am determined not to have January turn out the same way. My goal: exercise 4 days a week. In my exercise i would like to walk 15 miles this month.
Hopefully this month will go better. Good luck everyone!

Week 1~ So far i have exercised 4 days this week, and walked 5.28 miles!!!!!
Week 2~ Exercised 3 or 4 dayz (cant remember!) and made my total of miles up to 9.192!
Week 3~ 3 dayz
Week 4~ 3 dayz-total miles up to 11.692
Week 5~ usually i only count the miles that i walk on the treadmill cuz i want a real workout but this morning in p.e. we had to run a mile and so i am counting that mile cuz i know it was a complete mile. SO, need to walk 2.308 miles to meet goal

This is my first challenge. I'll start simple. I would like to exercise 4 times a week for at least 1 hour. This would include treadmill, bike, and videos.
Started week one on Monday Jan.1.

week 1 - exercised 6 days!!!! 5 hrs, 40 mins total. Hope I can keep it up.

week 2 - exercised 5 days!! 4hrs, 5 mins total. Ya!!

week 3 - exercised 5 days!! 3hrs, 45 mins. Almost!

week 4 - exercised only 2 days this week, 2 hrs total. Not so good, been very busy with other stuff. Must make up for it with the last few days of the month.

week 5 - last 3 days!!!!

Thumbs up

Thank you for setting this up again, Jeni - there's something so satisfying about seeing all the days and the exercise (when I do it!) all listed out for me to look at.

Okay - I said it in December and got waylaid by illness, so I'm going to try, try again! FIVE DAYS of exercise per week, four at the gym and one day of Pilates. Hopefully I've already gotten every virus imaginable and have enough antibodies to get me through the rest of winter!

January
1- nothing - it was a holiday and I was visiting my Dad!
2- 60 minutes intentional exercise (45 cardio, 15 core strength training)
3- day of rest
4- 60 mins intentional exercise (45 cardio, 15 upper-body S.T.)
5- had to stay late at work, so no gym.
6- 60 minutes intentional exercise (45 cardio, 15 upper-body S.T.)
7- 45 minutes intentional exercise (30 cardio, 15 lower-body S.T.)
8- day of rest
9- 60 mins cardio (45 elliptical, 15 treadmill)
10- nothing
11- 30 mins cardio (recumbent bike)
12- Had to work through lunch, no workout.
13- nothing - bah!
14- 60 minutes (45 elliptical, 15 upper-body/core strength training)
15- nothing
16- Have I mentioned I hate my office??
17- 50 mins cardio (30 elliptical, 20 recumbent bike)
18- 45 mins cardio (elliptical)
19- nothing
20- Ran two laps around the track, 5 minutes on the hill climber, 30 minutes on the elliptical, walked another few laps around the track, and upper-body and core strength training... all of which took me about an hour and a half. Yay!!! 90 mins.
21- day off
22-day off
23- 45 mins cardio (running/elliptical); 15 mins upper body weight training
24- day off
25- 45 mins cardio (running/elliptical)

27- sick!
28- nothing

O.k. so I'm going for 930 minutes again this month, IOW, an average of 30 min./day. (Last month I only made it to 420 min.) I will achieve my goal by walking, biking, weightlifting, shovelgloving, and maybe some racquetball.

I'm going to France in late June so I'm going to walk or bike 10% of the distance between here & there. (10% is around 550 miles.) EDIT: and the goal is to do this over the almost 6 months, it's an average of 3 miles/day.

January
1- Holiday!

3- 15 min. shovelglove
4- 15 min. shovelglove
