Sounds great, Plb! Come and visit us. We are all wanting Onederland pretty bad ourselves. :lifter: :exercise: :strong:

I did what you did. I let stress and everything else get me off plan and I gained 42 lbs back of the 79 I lost in 2004-2005. I worked really hard and got down from 277 to 198. Then everything went crazy, illnesses, my newborn preemie who needed to eat every other hour and thru the nite and since I had toddlers here too I couldn't catch up on sleep during the day either :faint:, hospital stays for my dh and dd and sadly I had very little family support thru it all (we don't live very near either of ours), then we were searching for our new house for 6 months last year, still couldn't find time to do anything for myself.. It was wild. :yikes:

So anyway, at least you didn't get that far off track! I couldn't believe I let that happen after working so hard to lose it. I really got alot of support from 3fc in that time so I knew where to come this time too! :carrot:

Sooooooooo here I am! I am committing to making time for myself, not just everyone else who needs attention. LOL. Hope you have a great year and do really well! We will cheer each other on!!! :cheer: (I love the little cheer girls here. So cute!) (My niece is a cheerleader so I think of her too. LOL.)

Ok, gotta go get on my treadmill for a little more b4 the baby wakes up and wants on it with me. LOL! :woops:

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been around but we had to move and things are finally calming down. How is everyone? After two weeks of eating like a pig, I've been in a odd state of control the last two days. I've haven't been this focused since I started WW for the very FIRST time almost two years ago! I hope I don't jinx it.

Soon2BFitChick 02-03-2007 11:56 PM

I stayed on plan today, yay! My weigh in is Monday morning. Uggh! But it has to be done! I need to know that what I'm doing is working.

Hope you all have a great nite!! Hugs!

Hi!

Anybody left around here? I was out with pneumonia for a month. But I'm still shooting for a Birthday goal.

I am still aiming for my birthday goal as well; but have had some set backs but I have not given up!!!! Glad you are on the mend!! Take care of yourself!

I have been off on my eating but am really trying to push myself to get it in gear!!

MyTimetoShine 03-06-2007 11:53 AM

plb112467, Spanky and ThinkThinKaren,
You all are doing a great job! I hope you don't mind if I jump on the bandwagon here. My b-day is in december and I want to be at my goal weight by then. I'm doing it by smaller portions, and exercise. Let's continue to fight the fight and win!!
plb112467, you're doing okay, just take it step by step. Set a mini goal... I found that looking at my start weight and my goal seems so far off. So a mini goal of 5 lbs. a month or whatever works for you will probably serve you better.
Forget about the past it's over and you can't change it -- look towards the future and see a brighter, thinner YOU!!

spanky 03-06-2007 11:59 PM

Oh GOODY!

My goal is the same--to lose @ 5lb a month. I started back into my weights and cardio and am trying to start a daily plan for meals. My Birthday is in July and I need tons of support to stick to this for so long!!!:o

 Hey ladies! I would love to join you! My all time high was 160... went from 153 lbs last Feb ('06) to 132 by last October ('06) then since all the holiday parties, etc. and the lack of focus I went back up to 145ish. I'm weighing in at 142.5 as of this morning and would love to join you chickies! My bday is November 16th. I would like to weigh 115 but 120 may be more realistic so I would be content anywhere in that range...

:dizzy: Short term goals::dizzy:
3/15 - 140.0 :o
4/15 - 135.0
5/15 - 130.0
6/15 - 125.0
7/15 - 120.0
8/15 - 115.0
8/15-11/16 and onward... MAINTAIN MAINTAIN MAINTAIN through MODERATION! :D

My issue isn't with exercise... I get in roughly 15 hours/week. I have more of a deal w binging late at night when I get home from the gym. I just have this need to stuff my face!

Here's to a new beginning... picking up where the last one left off!!!!

Hi Y'all!!!

I'm still out here. I'm on a FIFTH successful day of workouts and slowly bringing my eating back under control. I'm only hoping to not go UP this week [Monday is my Weigh In day] as long as I get the exercise happening. We'll see how it goes.

Sunday is a birthday party for a little 4 year old friend so I'm planning how I'll navigate around the inevitable cake and ice cream!

Welcome JP--Everybody has a Birthday so this group is here for everyone!

Have a great weekend!

Hey everyone! I'm in my new apartment and back on track! Thinking that I'm going to have to revise my original birthday goal but I'm going to see how well I do this month then decide.

MyTimetoShine 03-13-2007 10:56 AM

Hey Everyone,

How's everything going? Birthday goals coming along? I'm ahead of what I should be and I'm happy about that...It will keep me on track for those weeks in the future where I know I won't be losing anything.

Jasonslea I hope everything works out for you at the end of this month.

Keep Moving everyone!

JasonsLea 03-13-2007 03:42 PM

Hey everyone! Eating in my apartment is almost as I envisioned. There is no junk food in the cabinets so I've been eating really well. There is a store around the corner but I so far I have been able to talk myself out of going for crap before I even unlock my front door. I say it's 'almost' as I envisioned because I haven't cooked any WL friendly meals yet. But I'm still unpacking and stuff so...

JasonsLea 03-17-2007 04:56 PM

How is everyone doing? I'm alright, just trying to get used to my new place......with no cable and no internet. Add on to that, I forgot which box I put my cds in so I've been listening to the same cd for the past week. :fr: I guess the good thing about all that is that I've sat down and read my first book in over a year. And it wasn't just one book, I did one of my ol' marathon readings and read about five books in a day. Felt like old times. :) I've decided to continue to do my WIs on Tuesday instead of switching to Thursdays. I need to go grocery shopping.

So here I go; I am officially getting this thing going! I can do it and I will!!!!!!!!

I Hope!!!!!!:?:

Can I play? I'll be 41, June 7th. I'd like to hit at least my 140 goal by then. I'd be happy under that, howeverrr... its not a mandate. I'd like to goal a 2 pounds loss per week. I'm working on it!! :carrot:
