harpo- its tofu! hehe i need a new avatar! Ok, i'm halfway through my third day of no binges! I have so much inspiration and motivation because just by not binging, i have lost 2 pounds!
So yesterday I went and bought myself this beautiful little notebook and set some realistic goals for myself - Not for losing weight but for maintaining - So 1500 Calories Monday through Thursday, 2000 Calories Friday and Saturday (since the weekends are so hard for me why not just accomodate the fact that I naturally want to eat more?)
So this is realistic plan, and was able to stick with it yesterday - today is a new day and I'm doing well so far!
ok i have a question... i seem to lose weight faster if i'm on a certain diet plan. i've tried south beach diet but i feel too... restricted on it i guess. Do you guys know any diets where you can eat fruits and whole wheat products and still lose weight 'quickly' ? Thanks! and i hope you guys are doing WONDERFUL!
Sarah that is a great ideal to adjust your calories on weekends. That is what I have figured out that I have to do for family gatherings, holidays, etc. I sat myself up for binge eating when I think I can cut calories at special events. I end up going over my calorie limit. Than out of pure frustration of feeling like a failure again, I binge eat. By allowing myself in advance 2000 calories at holiday parties. I can enjoy a treat and move on without feeling like I failed and end up binge eating as punishment. You have a very smart plan. Good luck to you.
Alleycat Sorry I don't know of any diet that allows for whole wheat products and fruit while dropping the pounds fast.
Today is my 4th day of being binge free. It was hard getting to day 4 but I'm glad I did not give up on myself this time.
I decided to start up south beach anyways because i just need something to follow. i actually have a huge ammount of motivation this time around and yesterday i didnt crave carbs at all! Really helps that i'm down two pounds its funny how my body works!
I really need to be here.. I binged yesterday and today I've done a little binging but I am stopping myself before I do any damage. I've got to get back on track!
