Facing Reality
 
Well I am facing reality that I have an eating problem. I eat when I am stressed, bored, tired, when I am trying to avoid something. Trying to diet seems to have made it worse. All I can think of then is what should I eat , how many calories etc. It is like I am obsessed with it all. I do good for a few hours then eat something I shouldn't , feel bad about it and then just feel destructive and eat junk.
The one positive thing is that I have been sticking to my exercise program or I am sure I would have gained even more weight than I have.
So I am trying to take one meal at a time and trying to make some better choices in what I am eating.
Today is the most I have ever weighed I am at 148. I should only be about 125 but seriously would be happy right now if I could even get to 140.

hi spiritled welcome!!! good for you sticking with your exercise, i have a really hard time doing mine consistently so whenever i see someone that can stick with it i am in awe. keep giving it your best shot everyday the eating will all fall into place.

I totally understand how you feel! Dieting makes me obsess and drives me crazy -- it's almost like I'm living for my next "feeding." Today I decided that I would stop "planning" days because I just get too anxious about what to eat next. I will still log everything and make good choices, but go off how I feel.

Thanks again for the welcomes.
I just had a few bad eating days.
I need to keep all junk out of the house and just try to
eat sensibly one meal at a time. It is Thanksgiving this weekend,
and we have 2 birthdays we are celebrating so it will be a challenge.
I almost think I have to make a NO list and just avoid certain foods for the
rest of my life that seem to make me binge.
