Jodi, are you okay, hon? Can we do anything?

I know why I'm bingy today. I should have had a better breakfast (more protein, I think), and I didn't have my morning snack. I'm going to have a big breakfast tomorrow.

Okay, I never post in here because I never plan (or ever planned for that matter ~ I'm terrible with consistency) BUT I just wanted to say that reading your plans has made me crave the healthy food you are all eating. So THANK YOU for that. See, you are even helping us non-planners. Jodi, you have me totally craving some green tea and watermelon right now. Ah, see it works in reverse too.

Okay I'll plan for the weekend, but I can't doing any better than this: At various times throught the days, I will eat: salad, carrots, celery, apples, Gardenburgers, eggs, chicken, yogurt, tuna, bananas, an occasional handful of bran flakes, coffee, too much tea, and WAY TOO much diet pop. Ah, that felt much better :)

thanks ellis i am feeling better this morning. i needed some well deserved rest and a little tea and sympathy you know?? it is so odd really, now i consider going out to eat at a buffet an evil food thought, it used to be just plain old fun! oh how our lives shift!! as far as helping maybe a small fundraiser....??? ROFL

i stuck to it all day yesterday!!, i admitted my feelings in here and to my DH (i can't believe i am making that progress) oddly enough, i felt better afterwards....took me 38 years to learn that lesson!

harpo- i am glad the healthy stuff is inspiring to you, sounds like you have lots of healthy stuff on hand to get through the weekend! i know not everyone needs a plan to get them through, but forcing myself to post in this little thread makes a huge difference in my day so, glad you joined in!

well ladies i am off to the Y!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

ellis 05-20-2006 08:36 AM

Harpo, how bold of you to plan! I hope the weekend goes well for you.

Jodi, I'm glad you're feeling a little better. Ah, yes... a fundraiser. I still say we should rob a bank. Or something.
I was grocery shopping w/DH the other day. He picked up a box of popsicles, and I said, "We can't afford that right now. It's not on the list."
He responded with, "We can't afford a three dollar box of popsicles, but we can afford to spend five bucks a night on snacks at the corner store?"
We bought the popsicles.

Okay... Saturday:

M1: banana
two coffees w/skim milk
2 eggs
2 whole wheat toast
M2: 1 whole wheat toast w/peanut butter
M3: meatloaf w/ketchup

M5: Doritos
M6: Orangina

hmmm... not a great day, but not terrible. It definitely helped having a good breakfast and snack in the morning. I wasn't hungry later in the day, but I just WANTED those Doritos after waxing my floors. :D
