Hi, I'm new to the board but just wanted to say that I've found an enormous amount of support here in just 3 days. It's so good to know I'm not alone in losing control/compulsive eating. I had lost 80 lbs over the course of about a year but in the past few months, due to a lot of stress and things weren't exactly going great in my life, I gained about 20 lbs of it back. I know it could've been worse but I was so afraid of losing complete control again. Even within the past week I've still been binge eating and doing a lot of that, however knowing that I'm not alone and that there are other things in life helps a lot. Today I'm doing a lot better and I'm really, really going to fight hard to regain control and lose what I gained and then some. Thank you to everyone on here who supports one another. Because I had a choice and my choice was to come onto this board and relate with others rather than give into my feelings and eat them away. It's a good feeling to know that others are fighting along with me.

I know how you feel. I used to be a smaller woman, but I gained a lot. So... it is a daily battle, but I have found my footing and each day of my new lifestyle gets easier and easier.

Hi, Jess, and welcome. I've only been with the Chicks in Control for a couple of days myself but I find them to be the most wonderful support group I've ever known. I'm really glad to have found them and you will be too!
