Default Hey! It's Tuesday!

Hi all!

Imagine my surprise when I logged on to the computer at 4:16 p.m. and there was no Tuesday thread. It threw me for a loop for a minute. While I did have school yesterday, it was a professional development day and we didn't have any students. So, today being the first day of the week with students, I kept on thinking all day today that it was Monday.

Thanks to all of you for your supportive words. I also vented via email to my sponsor and she basically said the same thing: "Slow and steady wins the race." Patience is a virtue.

Hi Jennelle - glad you're feeling better today!! I know it's frustrating to be doing everything right and not see the results you want. You'll get there, and learn lots to help others along the way.

Hope everyone else is having a good day - how did you sleep, Bunna? We finally got to go outside today, which was good for the kids after days of rain. Other than that, not much to report. Want to give us a topic for the week, Chris? You mentioned sex - I think I can remember enough about that to do a post.

I did get my Geneen Roth books, and they're really clicking with me. Talk more tomorrow!

Default Hi all

I am zonked today. Had trouble falling asleep and woke up a bunch of times. I wish I was one of those people who needed little sleep to function. But I'm not.

So it'll be early to bed for me today. I'll curl up with my book and let sleep take over.

Tracy, who is Geneen Roth? I must have missed a post.

Jennelle, I hope you're feeling better!

Hey, Kat. Geneen Roth has written several books on Compulsive and emotional eating. It's about understanding what your true motives are, and finding new ways to achieve the same things. I'm finding it really helpful for where I'm at right now - just starting. Hope you got some sleep last night!
