Is it Thursday?!? Come chat!

I get so confused. The only day of the week I really pay attention to is Tuesday, 'cause that's when Gilmore Girls is on.

Jennelle - I loved what you said about WW and Food Porn! It always seemed to me that I needed a plan that allowed me to not think about food so much, as opposed to obsessing about it like I have been. You're right, in WW meetings, it's all about what new low-point thing hit the shelves this week, and what new recipes have you tried, blah blah blah. I'm just going to see how many points I'm eating on a normal day and modify from there, I think. Since I'm nursing, I do get extra. :)

Hi to Bunna! I'm trying to get to an OA meeting and will be working the steps, but I'm new here and just starting.

Kat - thanks for the support on the kitty. You're the only person who thinks I'm not nuts.

Hope everyone has a low-stress, sunny day!

Hugs to all!

I don't think you are  Tracy, I have eight (8) cats. All rescued except one which is the baby. Now that's   but I love them all, they are my :sunny: And yes, cats do love company, most of the time. With eight we have our disagreements.

Just a quick hello

I am off to workout but wanted to say hi  first. Where is everyone?

I am doing WW but the online version. I would think the meetings would get me too into diet mode, instead of food plan OA mode. But that's just me. I think the WW system is very healthy, though, when you go into it with a healthy mind set. :)

OK, must go get on my stationary bike before the lazy  gremlins  in my head convince me not to.

Hi all just popping into say hi. The next 7 day's of meal's will be planned. I'm with Kat I don't need the restriction because that in itself is a trigger for bingeing.

Do any of you go to the chat room?

I will be starting the step work here on line.

I don't post that often. By the time I get through with writing in my journal it is getting to late to come here, but I am lurking, and will post on my day's off.

Hey all...tough day today. I really didn't eat enough for breakfast and lunch, so by dinner time I was STARVING! I need to be careful - being too hungry is a big trigger for me. I survived it, though. :)

I don't know about y'all, but gas is getting ridiculously high out here! I stopped to get a diet soda on the way home and the Exxon a few exits from my house was selling the cheap grade for $1.71 a gallon! I almost fell over!

Bunna,
I am willing to send two cats on a bus to Oregon as soon as you say the word. One throws up every night, and the other is allergic to everything. Besides that, they're very nice kitties :)

Kat - I like WW a lot. It IS a very healthy program. For me, it's just a reminder how many times I've joined and quit. I don't believe I'll do it anymore. I'm so glad it's working for you!

Jennelle, gas is a shocker these days. I don't pay much attention to it because I rarely get out and Dan usually does the gassing up. But, I did gas up both cars last week and was totally blown away. I'm so oblivious! I can't believe I pass all those signs and don't pay attention until I'm the one shelling out the cash.

Hi CeeJay. I am having a hard time posting daily as well. In fact, I should be in bed now because the baby is asleep and I don't know how long that will last. . .

Tracy, I love the pic of your daughter! She looks very very happy!

We have a cold or maybe just allergies running through the house. Everyon is snotty and a little feverish. Elijah has had a hard time with it - and I'm feeling worse tonight. It's ALWAYS SOMETHING! Thankfully, it hasn't had too much effect on his sleep. . .He's gotten up in the middle of the night each night, but it hasn't been an all-night problem like usual when he's feeling bad. I'm still having a hard time getting my work hours in, and feeling like I'm accomplishing anything with my job. I've got to figure out a way not to let this make me feel like a loser. I can only do my best. I can only do what I can do.

My eating has been in control for two days now, and for that I am thankful.

Blessings to everyone!

jenelle, here's one thing you won't miss about CA: the CHEAPO gas stations are at 2.09 for unleaded. it only goes up from there!

pretty good day today, had a few gummy things that i really wanted and then had a few more i didn't need. but it was ok. i'm just being aware of it. and i tried to do a workout video this evening and my *#$&#*& knee made me stop and i was mad because i was all psyched to do kickboxing. and sometimes, i psych myself out instead. so i am mad that i got in the zone and was knocked down.

all in all, not a bad day. tomorrow david's going to take me to the new kevin smith movie, jersey girl! woo. =) so i will be missing the friday OA meeting but going next monday instead. to the meeting i really want to attend anyways.
