need info on starting a support group
 

Hello, I am new to this site. I am trying to find information on "how to start a support group". There is several women that I know would like to get together for support in weight loss that I know and they are leaving it up to me to figure out the best way to go about this. Can anyone help?

i assume you mean like locally, in your neighborhood, etc. I have never started a support group but I know someone that started another type of club, and basically she put signs up everywhere she could. this was a book club so she could put signs in book stores, at the library. She also put them up at the gym and local grocery stores. And she put ads in free local magazines.

now this was a bookclub so we concentrate on books. for weight loss you can look at books, websites, diet plans, etc.
