What is your weirdest trigger food?

I have two: non-dairy creamer and cool whip. Anyone else?

elvislover324 05-07-2013 03:19 PM

Anything made with potatoes. I could put all of my weight back on with that one food...

TheSecondHalf 05-07-2013 03:25 PM

Hummus.

Garnet2727 05-07-2013 06:28 PM

Weirdest? Hmmmmm. I have more than a few trigger foods but the weirdest is fish sticks. I can eat me a whole blasted box of fish sticks.

BreathingSpace 05-07-2013 06:55 PM

Sweetened condensed milk! If I have a can of it in my house, I will open it and just eat spoonfuls. :(

Lolo70 05-07-2013 07:01 PM

Roasted sunflower seeds or pepitas.

luckymommy 05-07-2013 07:33 PM

Not sure if this is weird, but cereal such as honey nut cheerios and special k strawberry. I haven't had either in years but just thinking about them makes me want them so much!

I also have a thing for nuts or honey or honey nuts. ;)

The list is endless but I tried to think of the weirdest ones.

elvislover324 05-07-2013 07:39 PM

I guess maybe I should have clarified on mine.

Potatoes are a weird trigger food as who is afraid of eating a potato?! I AM!!

Tibbits2u 05-07-2013 08:25 PM

for me its reddiwhip, its a comfort food of sorts to me. weird i know but i love it plain and will easily eat a whole bottle of it ! little debbie zebra cakes are another, i am convinced they have some sort of additive that increases your appetite or something

wannaskipandlaugh 05-07-2013 08:55 PM

Me.... its the semi sweet chips in the bag.... Now how can anyone eat just 1 or even 10 that bag and smell just overcomes the brain and Pow the bag would be gone..... But now cookie dough.....

AmyAmy 05-07-2013 11:13 PM

Raw egg, mixed with flour, vanilla essence and sugar. I eat it like that.

JenMusic 05-08-2013 07:53 AM

Oats, especially uncooked. I love the texture and they make me want to go overboard on things like ice cream, PB, cookies . . . whatever sweet stuff is available. At least I'm getting fiber? :)

inglesita64 05-08-2013 01:17 PM

Tomatoes! I know that if I include a tomato in my lunch, I will find it hard to keep away from sweets during the afternoon.

kk2323 05-08-2013 03:03 PM

You guys made me feel so much better! I've never told anyone about these things and it's amazing to be able to share in such an accepting environment. Plus, now I know that I'm not alone.

KittyKatFan 05-08-2013 10:59 PM

Fat-Free Reddi Wip. I can down a whole can :(

And I have a new one: tortillas! The local grocery chain has a tortilla making area in their stores. I decided to try them this week and now I crave them.

seabiscuit 05-09-2013 10:04 PM

I definitely like some of what was listed above, hummus, cool whip -- but not together!!

I have a lot of weird trigger foods, but I think the weirdest concoction that I have ever made is applesauce with crackers or bread, strange I know, but I really dig it! I also like bread with milk!

Well, that's my two cents.

:)

zionkoach 05-20-2013 11:05 PM

queso and soda

Remington90 05-21-2013 12:02 AM

Steamed Broccoli... dipped in mayo & mustard (mixed together). The broccoli isn't bad, but when I drench it in that yummy sauce for an entire broccoli head, things get out of hand.

Alibaibee 05-24-2013 09:48 PM

Terra Chips. Mediterranean style. Oh my goodness, they are made with root vegetables and might as well be crack.

IanG 05-24-2013 10:02 PM

Kebobs. So dumb ar$e only went to Turkey for two weeks.

But survived...

SwallowedintheSea 05-27-2013 02:18 PM

1. Chocolate chip granola bars (bizarre I know)
2. Peanut butter crackers

I can no longer keep those two things in the house... Both seem like "healthy" snack foods but not when you eat six of them in a row! Hahaha.

laceyj 05-27-2013 03:44 PM

CEREAL! My last week consisted of nights spent with peanut butter toast crunch (do not try this-it's new and is crack in cereal form) and Golden Grahams. I'm not eating cereal for a looooonnng time!

ellezony 05-28-2013 03:39 PM

peanut butter or maybe green beans for me.

Selina Kyle 05-30-2013 10:04 AM

bananas.

mashed potatoes.

marshmallows can sometimes be a trigger. they're all pillowy and soft and sweet and it's so easy to eat way too many.

musicalchick 06-02-2013 12:32 AM

Frosting, soda, creamed corn, and cake.

Aidanqm 06-02-2013 01:18 AM

I've since quit binge eating but it used to be nut butter! I once went through an entire 16oz jar of sunflower seed butter in a day . Lmao. Now I can look back and laugh because I routinely keep almond butter in the house. I just have learned to moderate and not starve myself anymore. :dizzy:

ataraxia3 06-02-2013 01:31 AM

doritos and sour cream : ( : ( : (

fitwayoflife 06-02-2013 10:00 AM

Mints. A pack of Tic Tacs will be gone in a day.

curlyfroyo 06-02-2013 10:19 AM

cereal was a horrible one but now Im ok with it i can have one serving and be just fine with that

Skippys Reduced Fat Peanut Butter (only peanut butter ill eat) on Quaker just plain rice cakes. I can not buy it anymore bc I know that I am just an idiot around it lol
