Way to go, Amy! A week is a huge accomplishment!!!

I had to stop coming to 3FC for awhile because reading about other people slipping up and bingeing made me binge. My mind thought, hey, if they can slip up and binge, then so can I!! The mind works in crazy ways...

I'm still in a fragile state of mind, so I'm only checking these boards intermittently until I can control myself better. On a brighter note, I've done pretty well lately and have lost almost all the weight I gained during an epic binge-fest month of August (actually, late July through mid-August). Just a few more pounds until that damage is undone...

On the bright side, I am appreciating my weight loss more, this time around. Having to re-lose the weight, and almost reaching my goal weight AGAIN, has made me appreciate being close to my goal weight more. Before, I just focused on what I couldn't eat. Now, I am trying to rejoice in how much better I look, and recognize that there IS a tradeoff for restraining myself from bingeing...I look much better and am thinner! I lost sight of that before and just focused on all the yummy treats I couldn't eat.
