I love pumpkin soup!

I just eyeball the ingredients - cut up some fresh pumpkin into cubes, add a few peeled tomatoes (put them in boiling water - the flesh will start to peel off in seconds - then take them out and strip the skin), one big or two small sliced onions, some water and a bouillon cube or chicken stock.
Stick it on fire until everything is soft, then use an immersion blender to turn it into a nice puree. Add spices to taste (I like to put in a touch of hot mustard) and a bit of grated cheese if you feel like it.
