What do you crave?

Cheese. I just got to have it. I could eat a whole block of sharp cheddar. :(

When I saw the thread title, before I even read the OP, my brain hollered, "CHEESE!" Hot, melted cheese on...anything..doesn't matter what. JUST WANT MELTED CHEESE!

Chocolate. Major chocoholic here. But I've gotten a lot better with having it and eating it in the past couple of months.

I'm an equal opportunity binger....that means I like it all! ;) It depends on the mood: chocolate (melted is best), pastry, donuts, ribs, pizza, fresh bagels w/ cream cheese & lox, burgers, onion rings, cereal, bread with melted butter....you get the picture. I am obsessed with food but not all food. Things I don't crave (but I don't hate): broccoli, spinach, celery, baked chicken breast, baked fish...you get the picture. ;) Why, oh why can't the first list be all the healthy must-haves!?! :stress:

The typical culprits:

Donuts.

Pastries.

Cinnamon rolls from a particular donut shop near me.

Pancakes, waffles and French toast.

Pizza.

Other cravings come and go but these are pretty constant. Sometimes chicken biscuits with honey butter from a local fast food chain too.

Melted chocolate and melted cheese are also two of my faves. I sometimes get individual cheese fondue containers (imported from Switzerland), which can be microwaved in a few minutes and eaten with cubes of bread. Yum.

CHOCOLATE! thankfully, I've learned that you can eat chocolate every day, Like I've been doing, and easily stay on track. I just don't eat blocks of chocolate but I use cocoa powder like it's my JOB hahah it's even better.

I'm so glad I read this thread because I thought I was the only one that had Cheese cravings!! What's up with that? Why am I craving cheese? I find that it's really bad at the end of the day, right before bed.

Does anyone know why that is? Am I lacking something during the day that's causing this?

BREAD. Always bread. (Not that I wouldn't binge on other stuff too.) But if I had loaves of bread, butter and various sandwich-y type stuff to put in it, I could eat it continuously for hours. :^:

LOVE THIS!

When I start to eat my feelings, I really really love (and crave) cake or brownie batter. I don't need it baked - just mix it up and I'll literally eat it with a spoon. Weird I know. The whole egg thing doesn't phase me when I'm in one of those moods. I haven't done that in such a long time though... and inevitably, I feel disgusted with myself, but oh my gosh do I love cake batter! :o I intentionally don't buy the stuff because I know what will happen in a moment of weakness!

cheese, bread, butter, tortilla chips, whiskey, and cheese, bread, butter, tortilla chips, whiskey...oh! and cheese, bread, butter, tortilla chips and whiskey.

Oh god.....now I want it all. LOL

Diet Coke!!! I can manage fine without a lot of stuff, but soda is my killer.

Brickbat 09-15-2012 04:18 PM

Peanut Butter most definatly! i swear i could eat an entire jar in one sitting. I used to stumble home and have trouble opening the door but somehow i always manged to, in a stupor, eat a gross amount of peanut butter lol
