1 month no binge

:carrot: After YEARS upon YEARS of binging, I have officially gone 1 month without binging. I do have a snack when I feel it coming on and walk away. I did it. It is almost like planned binging in a way, without the compulsion. If I know I want chocolate, I have a little bit right away paired with something healthier. It has taken away the need thus far. I can deal with a few snacks, especially when I am under my calorie allotment. It's so much better than inhaling a 1000 calories in like 5 minutes. :carrot:

WOW!! That is sooo good!!! I am really aiming for NO BINGE eating. I have 1/2 bag of reese's pieces in my purse left over from a recent trip to the movies. They have been there for a week. I am VERY proud of that.

That is PROGRESS! I remember digging into my bag and eating random sour patch kids that had been there for over a week. AURGH! Never again!

I DEMAND YOU HAND ME YOUR SECRET WEAPON!!!

Seriously though, congrats! That's amazing! At times, I think progress is more beautiful than results. There is such POWER in you to overcome that!

Thanks! I did a little happy dance once I realized it. I won't lie. lol. I feel like my brain is getting rewired. The little voice that took over used to say, "Eat. C'mon. Let me do it. EAT!" is starting to say, "Get your fat a$$ up and exercise! I don't care if you don't want to!"

When it gets kind of hard, I still chew gum (right now I am chewing Extra Apple Pie YUM--which if they found a way to make it taste like pizza or sour cream and onion chips I swear I would be a size 4) or suck on TicTacs until it passes.

Hey, if I can do it, anyone can. I've been fighting my inner binging demons since I was probably like 12 or 13. I know I havent beat it forever. I'm not stupid. But, I am THIS much closer to winning the war.

YOU MUST BE SO PROUD!!!! That is probably one of the greatest NSVs I've heard yet. I have an issue with this so I know how difficult that is.

Aw thank you! And might I add that this week, my 7 year old daughter was able to put her arms around my waist--with fingers overlapping--for the first time ever. She has been doing it several times a day. I don't know who's more excited, her or me. And I havent binged yet to break my record :)
