I did it!
 

I went out to eat with my boyfriend and his family (parents, aunt & uncle, grandparents).
We ate out at a restaurant/bar, which usually has amazing alfredo pasta! I didn't even look at anything in the menu, except the salads.... I ended up getting the Grilled Shrimp salad, which tasted okay, but it was mainly spinach. I felt good about my decision, as I saw his dad sitting next to me eating these delicious looking chicken wings, I was offered one and turned it down. :)

YAY---truly a victory. That is how I felt today turning down an offer for cookies from my MIL :-)

Awesome! Spinach is really good for you anyway (although I admit, I don't like it as much as I'd like to).

hmm, you did better than I would have. I think special outings are a reason to save up for your calories and then go ahead and eat. Which is why I don't mind doing IF. I usually don't cut back when we go out to dinner.
