I have been binge free for 4 days now and have lost 2 pounds =). It has really helped me by sitting down and talking to my husband about what could be causing my binges. And we got to the bottom of it. He has really been helping me through this and when I go to the kitchen, he reminds me to ask myself if I am actually hungry. And 90% of the time I am not and I put down the food. He also reminds me that he is there for me, no matter what it is, so I can talk about it instead of eating my feelings away. I have also started packing myself a lunch to take to work and not bringing money with me so I can't buy food from the vending machines. I hope I continue to do well. =)
Ugh vending machines are my total vice, too. I work for a soda company and there are 4 vending machines on every floor with soda...but it's the candy bar from the snack shop on the bottom floor that gets me every time (its so hard working in a building that has a huge cafeteria )
That's amazing that you have such a wonderful hubby--having that support at home really makes the road much easier to travel, no matter what the journey.
I know how hard it is to not binge! That's great your husband is supporting you. Just remember how yucky it feels after a binge, compared to how great you must feel waking up in the morning knowing you didn't binge. It's sooo worth it!!
