A new point of view
I've lost 6lbs. I'm content with that and hope to keep going, but I realized something odd the other day.
I bought weights for the Shred (each was 3lbs) and had a hard time doing the Shred with the weights. THAT'S the Weight I LOST. I complain that my laptop weighs 5-6lbs and hate carrying it on my back to school with my books. (Granted the books weigh a lot more). That's the weight I LOST. I was carrying 6 pounds around all day every day, and working out with six extra pounds as well. It's weird when you realize how much that is... Some of you are inspiring because you've lost SO much. Imagine if you grabbed 50lbs and tried to heft it on your back it would feel so heavy, and that's what you LOST. CRAZY |
Yep! Even a little bit of weight is a lot when you pick it up and feel it for yourself.
All that extra weight on your joints and bones. No wonder it's more difficult to do certain things! And it's why every pound lost makes a HUGE difference to our bodies. |
