Weight Question

I know this is going to sound so silly but I have to ask cause I feel like I'm going to loose my mind. So I have been OP for the last week or so and feel great. BUT this morning I was up 2lbs! So mad...
Does anyone think that perhaps when you ovulate you weigh more? Stupid question cause I almost know the anwer is no but I need some way to justify the gain. I drank atleast 2 litres of water yesterday, herbal tea, had no carbs, no sugar at all and 2lbs up. WHAT!!!
Although I am not on a low carb plan I try to limit my carbs and cut out sugar because I get addicted to sweet flavors. My husband tends to think that we retain water in winter but I don't think thats the case. I have to figure this out.
Any suggestions?

My suggestion is just stick with it - do what you know will work... eventually - One theory is that it's harder to lose when it's cold out because our bodies want to hang on to fat to stay warm. Even though my weight loss has been slow/non-existent from week to week I know that EVENTUALLY, since I am taking in less than I am burning, that the scale is going to move. Keep doing what you are doing for another week and I bet you'll be lower next week.

It's very common for women to gain and lose water weight throughout their cycle. It's also very common for PMS to trigger overeating, but that's evidently not what's going on in your case.

Unless you polished off 7000 calories above maintenance yesterday and forgot to record it (:)), it's probably just water weight. Don't worry about it.
