THIS WORKS FOR ME, think beauty!

My cravings have always been sugary treats...

Lately, before I sit down for lunch or dinner, I prepare some fresh fruits, cut them up, choose a beautiful plate and arrange it nicely, so it looks all yummy and tasty! THINK BEAUTY!;)

This helps me because after I finish my meal, I would always think, I need sweets/desserts... :oThis way, when eating my beautiful fruits...I don't even need to get up from the table. My brain has time to get satisfied, and I don't crave the unhealthy stuff...It works for me!!!

Think I'll even go to Pier 1 and buy myself the prettiest little plates, just for my special fresh fruit desserts...to celebrate my new BIG achievment!
After all, you also eat with your eyes, so take the time to make it look pretty!
YAY!!!!!:D

Hope this can help somebody! Have a great weekend everybody!

I never realised how much of a sweet tooth I had until I realised how many sugary drinks and snacks I was eating in a day. So think this is something I will definitely try. So thank you for the idea :)

Great idea -I'm going to put my baked apple (I bake it in diet wild cherry soda with cinnamon) in my big beautiful brandy glass -and make it seem more special and therefore more satisfying - no reason to feel deprived right????

Thanks zeli!!

Thank you for the wonderful idea! It has totally inspired me to go and buy some beautiful bowls as I like to have yoghurt mixed with stuff in a bowl and I can do with a beautiful one, this way I could feel positive about being loving, gentle and caring to myself, hence no need to harm with binge eating :)

Sometimes we forget to treat ourselves...and, by treat, I do mean...the little things that will help us be more alive and healthy...like a nice new little bowl, a new book, new songs for your I-Pod or new sneakers for your walks in the forest or park... LIFE is precious! It's OUR life, right NOW... we DESERVE to make it a good one, it's our CHOICES, let's make them GOOD! :)
WISHING YOU ALL HAPPINESS FOR THE NEW YEAR!!!!

This is a great idea and now that I think about it, it's definitely held true for me that a pretty dish will prevent me from binging. Especially since, when I binge, I sure as **** don't bother or want to bother really looking at my food.

presentation of colorful fruits on a plate is great!

Great idea. I also like slicing apples very thin (after I wash and core them) and displaying them on a little plate. They make a nice dessert or snack.

That is a fantastic idea. Ive been trying to kill the processed sugar out of my diet by replacing with more natural things. nothing makes me more happier that natural sweet goodness: (pics from tumblers)

Those sure are beautiful pictures. Natural fruits, each containing their own delicious flavors, presented on a pretty plate or cup is a delicious dessert or treat.

Homemade applesauce

I make applesauce and refrigerate it. So tasty, sweet and it's a good dessert.
