I always get a pita kipfillet (grilled chicken breast pita with all sorts of veggies). But, adding fries are just 1.50e more, and they have OUTSTANDING fries. And it takes my feel-good meal to the "ugh, why did I do that" stage. And I knew that even if I didn't get fries, they would offer to share theirs (meaning well, because we always have each others' backs as far as money, food, etc...well, I didn't know just how much they had my back!)
I order my meal - just the pita - without fries. Friend #1 congratulates me -- and then orders her meal without fries! Friend #2 orders - no fries. Friend #3 orders - no fries!!
I asked them why, and they said, "Because you're doing so great and we wanted to help make it easier!"
I AM SO TOUCHED! I loved every last bite of that pita and the walk we all took afterward. I couldn't believe it!! Yay for supportive friends!

I love greek food, but you're right, those fries really screw it up. It's hard to not get them. Way to go with the healthy choices and great friends!
