I have the same problem, and usually it's not some fruit or veggies I want, lol. The only thing I've found that saves me when I KNOW I'm oging to cave, is popcorn.
For awhile I microwave popcorn but now I pop a 1/4 cup myself (120 cal.) and it's a LOT! I can put it away too, let me tell you...

It is awesome to say the least, lol. Sometimes I even put a little 2% mozerella on it.
I've done the "go to bed straight away" trick lots of times, especially when there's no popcorn in the house!
