Coffee Anyone?

  • So I need some suggestions...

Each morning I MUST drink something warm. Like coffee. But over the past few months, coffee has begun to taste really icky. No matter where I get it or how much I doctor it....it just doesn't taste good anymore. The thing I love about it though, is coffee is calorie free. I use sugar supplements and very little creamer in mine.

Does anyone know of a low calorie (or no calorie) hot beverage to drink? I'm not so much of a hot tea fan unfortunately.
  • Well, my grandmother and mom absolutely adore hot water with lemon and a little honey, I'm not the biggest fan but if it makes them happy. The only other thing I can think of that is hot is maybe warm milk? Sorry this isn't much of a help, but the only things I could think of were coffee and tea really.
  • Don't knock the tea til you've tried a lot. They have a few out right now that are for the holidays and boy, the Sugar Cookie one is just the fix I need when nothing but dessert will do. I used to hate tea until I started to try all kinds, the fruit zingers are great for in the morning!!
  • diet hot cocoa!
  • is it maybe the coffee that you are drinking or how you are brewing it?

hot water with lemon and honey would be my suggestion too if you can't find coffee that suits your tastebuds

Ok - so I knocked the tea before I tried more varities. Over the weekend, I tried Celestial Seasonings True Blueberry and Wild Cherry Zinger and LOVE them. I could drink cup after cup of those. I also found that I like the Lipton Vanilla Carmel Truffle.

You were right - tea is good *high five*
  • glad you found something you like! score!
  • How about a hot apple cider?
  • Hot apple cider is delicous! But I find it hard to find non calorie or low calorie varieties... I have been lucky and I've found packets that you add to water for about 10 calories a cup.

I'm still a big coffee and tea fan though, hard to beat those! Makes me sad to think I might lose my taste for coffee someday, lol
