I ate healthy not overeating for 1 week and i gained 1 pound, then i overate and two days later i lost a pound overeating! Im so confused has this happened to anyone else? Is it because my body is used to overeating and it thought i was dying? i have no clue
So many things could have influenced that. Your cycle, sodium, constipation, etc. Don't get hung up on the numbers. Eat right for your body--calorie wise and nutrition wise--day in and day out. Your body WILL follow!
The scale does not always reflect your efforts or your underlying condition. This is a tough lesson that most of us have to face sooner or later. It might be very tough for you to learn this right at the beginning of your journey, but if you do learn it, you will be light years ahead of the folks for whom things go smoothly for several weeks, then can't deal with a setback on the scale.
Watch your calories, eat healthy, and you will lose weight!
Most of what goes in and out of your body every day is water (check out this diagram), so most of your weight fluctuations will be due to that. What happens on the scale never perfectly reflects whether you're losing fat or not, which is all we really care about.
