Yestarday was a no-go for me: major binge.
Today should have been day 5, instead I'm again on the starting blocks... however I don't want to waste the rest of the week: hope that it will be a 6-day binge free week.
Lucy

P.s.: Hang in there everybody

DAY 4 for me today. I feel like I'm starting to lose some of the weight from my last binge.
I'm banning crap in my house. I refuse to buy it

Lost it yesterday - not sure why. Took out the last 4 chocolate chip cookies in the house, and then about 3 servings worth of garlic bagel chips. There was the salt thing again - and big surprise, woke up this morning 4 pounds heavier. Sigh. Shall keep at it - it was pretty small-scale compared to some of the past binges! Maybe like smoking - some can go cold-turkey, and some find success by stepping away slowly?

So far, it's been a binge free week. That's the longest I've ever lasted!

Yesterday and Wednesday were rough, but I managed to distract myself out of binges.

Today is proving to be SUPER rough.

Late last night my Mom had to take her cat (my first real four-legged pet) to the emergency room and had to unexpectedly put her to sleep (late stage intestinal cancer that was previously undetected). Needless to say that this morning I'm still grieving and the birthday chocolate covered almonds and giant Cookies By Design basket that are in the breakroom are looking mighty tempting.

I keep telling myself that they won't make me feel any better, but there's always that "What if they might?" in the back of my mind.

Ugh, what a crappy day. On top of everything my sesamoiditis is acting up and I'm hobbling around. I have a Christening to go to on February 1st and I have yet to find a company that makes dressy heels that provide arch support and super ball-of-foot padding without looking like total Grandma shoes! Damn foot!!

Sorry for the rant! I though if I let out some steam it would help keep the binge away.

Day 9 for me, came close last night when we ordered one of pizza huts new pizzas (210 cals/slice for a pepperoni, 190/slice for veggie-olives) but I kept within my calories for the day so I'm happy

So sorry to hear about your first pet

doing ok in spite of lack of sleep. eating better than earlier in the week.
wow, no binges tho. these busy work weeks usually set me off. But I have been exercising when possible, even if just taking stairs on the way up to the next floor, and have kept my eating to a reasonable degree. Only problem today, I was ravenous at 630 pm when I woke up, and we went out to eat, and while waiting for supper, the chef sent over some pita and hummus. I don't usually eat bread before food, but i couldn't resist some.
I was sooo hungry. But I think that was reasonable, and I didn't eat every crumb, shared with the rest of the table, so I have done ok.
yippee. If I can get thru weeks like this......

wow everyone, good going, and for those who have tripped, I offer a hand up!
Wardhog, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think in the 2 month I have been coming here, that I have seen you stay binge free so long, its fantastic.
What is different/right ?
