A Doc Help
 

Ok... that’s it... I decided I need a professional help with my eating disorder. It is a disease and I can’t control myself. I am tired of hiding. I want to be able to go out again and have a life and be able to give a bite in a sandwich without going to a binge.
But my question is: Which kind of a doctor do I have to look for?
Is there a doctor for this kind of problem? if so how is it called???:?:

Sweetie, I think you might find better answers in the Weight Loss Support section. Also, go into the binge/purge section. There are some very wonderful chickies in there who have walked in your shoes.

I think that sometimes talking to a psychiatrist can help with these things. Good luck and i wish you well

I think you need to be picky. A doc or counsellor who will help you thru this has to be a good "fit" for you. If the first one you talk with doesn't seem helpful, then keep trying. Too often people give up on counselling because they don't have a good experience with the first one they meet, but if you keep trying, you will find the right match.
