Pepper on everything! :)

And sometimes malt vinegar. Mmmm. Takes me back to Ireland the summer after my Sophomore year in college.

I really like Red Robin's seasoning, I always put it on and my friends complain that it's too salty, but it tastes sooo good!

I totally understand the "I might as well keep going now that I've started" mindset. Yesterday was HORRIBLE. I was already a little over my cal target (around 1700) and I was starving and in a really bad mood. So at around 11:30pm I let myself have a cliff bar, bringing me to just under 2000. I was hanging out with my roommates, and at 3am my other roommate came home and said she was going to the burrito place to get drunk food and I walked with her and got deluxe veggie nachos!! I proceeded to eat the entire thing then tell myself "well, I should just have some of the cake I've been eyeing in the fridge, I'm already screwed." So I did. A very large piece. AT LIKE 3:30AM!!! Needless to say, I don't feel very well today physically or mentally.

I have a strong desire for Pepperidge Farms Sausalito Cookies. I work in a small company with about 15 people and there are more bags of those cookies than employees, since everyone enjoys them so much. I had 2 today, but like most of the others in this thread, I feel as tho now that I've already gone and done it... might as well have a seriously tasty dinner with the fam.

Oooh Ilista - that is some dangerous thinking. First off, you haven't gone and done anything yet. What are two cookies - 200 calories - so that is one-sixteenth of a pound - oh yeah that is just going to ruin everything isn't it? ;)

And, furthermore, you should absolutely be having a tasty dinner anyways! Just a healthy and tasty one.

You wouldn't say that just because you exceed the speed limit on the highway, it's ok to also run red lights, right? So don't use a slip in your eating as an excuse or as permission to do things you shouldn't do.

:)

And next time you'll do better.

I really love your analogies. Another one, by Jillian Michaels, is look at it as if you have a flat tire. Would you change it or ruin all other three?

Thinking of that slice of pizza or chocolate bar in this way saved me from binging on the rest.

I got into an emotional argument this afternoon. By the time it was over it was lunch time and almost 7 hours since I had last eaten..

My lunch turned into some emotional eating. 3 good bowls of Special K chocolate delight and Honey bunches of Oats combined. It tasted amazing and was comforting, hence the 3 helpings. But I knew it was emotional when I realized I was full, but insisted that another bowl was a good idea.

Its been awhile since something like this has happened, so I'm not going to fret. Especially since I know what I did and the reason behind. I just felt I should confess. :^:

It made me so full! gross.
