I'm back...and gained for no reason!
 

Hi everyone, just a note to say I'm back at college so can come here regularly again....gained and lost 3lb over xmas, so thought I was ok...then got on the scale this morning and WHAT?!? I'm up 3lb! Even though I've been GOOD, and just had TOM! I was honestly shocked. Actually I'm not that devastated because I know for sure I absolutely haven't eaten enough to gain 3lbs of fat, and it must, scientifically speaking, be water. But still, you know what it's like when you see those numbers!

Of course that is a water gain. You'd have to at least eat over 10,000 (more depending on your BMR and activity) calories in one day to gain three pounds, which wouldn't show up that quickly on the scale anyway. Our bodies are crazy, they do what they want most of the time. When I was over 300 pounds, I gained 14 pounds in ONE week because of PMS and TOM. It quickly shed within a few days after. I'm sure you'll be back to normal in a few days. :)

thank you :) Actually, I'm back to normal already....as If I could've lost 3 real pounds overnight, lol. Just goes to show, the scale does, occasionally, lie...but they're so tempting to believe :dizzy:
