Default Doing the Happy Dance!!!

Maybe it's the weather, but I feel great!
I'm doing the happy dance in my head! I've been riding my bike, yeah! being mindful of what I put in my body, yeah!
and this morning I got up early and went for a RUN!!!!!!
I saw a reminder on this forum once that we should celebrate the good moments as well as the hard ones, so YEAH!!!
And seriously, if I can do this-everyone can-I am my own worst enemy!!
BTW- I am doing the coolrunning Couch Potato to 5K run program ( just started, today was my first run) if anyone is interested in joining me, let me know!!
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
This warrants a dancing carrot! or two

Okay, we're on!
Maybe a few others will join in.

I've been running for several weeks, but I'm not consistant, so I'll count today as my first "real" run. I'm going to commit to my next run being on Friday. Please shake a fist if I don't check in, and I'll do the same for you.

Have a great run tomorrow!!

Good going, KeepOn!!

I'm on Day 2. Just finished my run. 18 minutes, and I was pretty much ready to die at 15.
I'm slow to progress (plus I'll probably injure myself any minute now, putting myself out for the count for a month or so), so you'll be whizzing by me in no time! I'll try to keep up.

Well done chick!

I was shocked when I found I enjoyed going for a jog for the first time ever this week!

Keep up the great work!

Thanks, girls!

Jadeybaby, isn't that the most amazing feeling?!

Keepon, I hope you're having a day of rest.

I just completed Day 3. I decided that if I was going to feel like I was dying again today, I might as well add on another two minutes and just kill myself. So I ran a straight 20.
I don't know how I'm ever going to get to 30 without some sort of major trauma. A trip to emergency or somethin'.

Keepon, how are you doing, hon? Did you get a run in?

I'm sick. I knew this would happen. I've got the beginnings of a wicked cough. I managed to run a straight 20 again today, but I think I'll be lucky if I can walk by Friday.

hiya!
Doing better today-didn't go running, or do ANYTHING for like 3 days and then yesterday after work i was all grumpy and tired and upset with myself, so i went for a 40 minutes walk/run-running time totalling about 20 minutes! it was kind of easy so i thought i had done something wrong, but this morning-oh boy, my legs are killing me!!!!
Sorry to hear you're getting sick
Good for you on the straight 20 minutes-I cannot wait until I am at that point.
i gotta say, having the check in sure helps!

That's great... good for you! Sometimes we need to bite the bullet and "just do it" when we're feeling lousy. It can really pick up our mood.

Have a good rest day today.
