Help! Binging today... must stop.
Ugh, I've already eaten like 2,600 calories today and it's only 12:15 p.m. I've been good for a whole week, so I thought I'd treat myself to Dominos. Yeah, well, I didn't think I'd go as overboard as I did.
Any advice on how I can contain myself the rest of the day? |
DISTRACT YOURSELF HOWEVER YOU CAN. I listed the ways that I distract myself in a previous thread. I suggest that you make your own list and try to do something on it that will make you focus on something else.
But remember to FORGIVE YOURSELF and move on. You can start the day all over again right now don't deprive yourself of food for the rest of the day, just try to eat sensibly. I had a very "bad" morning today as well after about a week of being good so, I totally feel you. That is why I have been haunting the board today. haha. :D |
You're telling me. After finishing off a box of Raisinets, I was like, "I'm logging onto the forum." LOL.
Where is the thread called in which you list the ways you distract yourself? I might read or play some video games. |
Can you go out for a walk? Sometimes I find that if I go outside for even a short walk I feel more in control. Do you know what your triggers are? I know that when (and if) I can find my triggers I can occasionally avoid bingeing. Just know that you are worth the effort - we are all worth the effort! Hang in there, Lady!

I think a walk would be the best or just get in the car and drive...get out of that house! ;) I think you need to do a clean sweep of your house too and get the raisinettes and everything else bad outta there. ;) And next time you want to TREAT yourself for a week of being good...maybe try getting a pedicure or having your hair done. ;) Anything non edible would be excellent! ;)

I'm really glad this thread went up today, it was exactly what I needed. I just went for a walk and I think it is going to help me snap out of my week-long binge, thanks guys!
