Little Victory!
Hi all,
Well, I am happy to report that I am on my fourth binge-free day, after a month of bingeing 3-4 times per week. And for the first time in awhile, I feel like I'm not hanging on for dear life to avoid a binge. I put on 5 or 6 pounds over this month, and the scale was down a pound this morning! (I weigh in once a week) At least I'm back to moving in the right direction :D Just wanted to share this small success :carrot: I hope you all are doing well, and have a great weekend! |
Meg, Congratulations!!! I know how hard it is to get back on track after such times. I find myself in your same position, I had gotten down to 176 and ate/drank my way back to 185. I'm back to slightly below 180 and am resolved to control my binges. For some reason, I feel like I've got control over it this time. Like some switch has flipped in my brain. I think it's all about being in the present moment when you are planning your meals or sitting down to eat. I know if I can just stay in the moment and not think about past mistakes, I can make eating healthfully my new 'habit'.
