Question Newbie Chick has question about Cholesterol

Hi everyone! I am new here but not new to Atkins. I started on Feb 1/06 and my starting weight was 301lbs. I am now down to 226lbs so I have lost 75lbs So I am happy with the diet. I got my Cholesterol levels checked in April and everything was improving. Just got my levels checked yesterday and today the Dr. called to say my HDL is better, but my LDL is up!
I have to say I was alittle upset. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help.

Shortages of certain vitamins and minerals will cause your body to process chol. improperly....(father, grandfather, and various cousins dead of heart disease before 42 so i read obsessively about chol. and how to manage it) are you taking your vitamin supplements?
