Well that is something that it took me a while to get used to. I have always had self confidence issues, so I felt like they weren't going to listen to me, but I've been doing this almost a year and it has turned out pretty well. I have one of the most stressful jobs in the yard, so I'm having to learn to deal with the stress with something other than eating. And I work with AWESOME men. Alot of them are my age or within a few years either way so we seem to get alot really well. I would have never dreamed of working for the RR, but the job fell into my lap the pay is great, the benefits are great...the hours aren't...but I'm dealing with that.

I am a Facilities Coordinator for a mortgage company -- I deal with real estate leases, invoice payments, purchase orders, furniture, relocations, travel, and the lovely world of construction.

Jackie, you missed our earlier talks. My DH is now a home engineer as he calls it. We decided for right now he's going to stay at home and take care of me, the house and the cats and the cars. He has dinner ready when I get home. He does the dishes, laundry, runs the sweeper, cleans the bathrooms and mops the floors. He handles the cat litter and the feeding now too. He also has a huge list of household projects -- so far he's knocked off about 1/4 of the list. I'm getting spoiled. He runs errands, does the grocery shopping, etc.

WOW.....that sounds awesome!!!!! I think I'd be spoiled too. I'd be happy with someone to the laundry. The rest would just be a bonus!!!

I can't claim to be a housewife because I stink at cleaning the house. I've seen worse, but this place is no show place (besides, whenever I clean I can never find what I'm looking for :lol: ). I'm also a wife and mom and co-Girl Scout leader for 2 troops. Plus assistant (I keep saying I'm an assistant because I feel I'm still learning) youth leader at my church. I've not figured out what I want to be when I grow up :lol:
