Susan: Hope you start to feel better soon!

Robin: How'd things go yesterday?

Bec: With that little sleep and you being on the run, make sure to take your vitamins!!

Coffee: WTG on the whooshfairy visiting! Keep up the great work!

Sue: WTG on the weight loss as well! And increasing your muscle and decreasing the resting heart rate! AWESOME!!

Sherry: WTG on getting your job full-time! And before you know it those 18's will be loose also!!

Well, TOM has decided to appear (didn't that TOM just LEAVE me??) again. Did good yesterday until the afternoon...then messed up. But it's back at it today. I'm feeling like crap (stomach cramps and tired) and not hungry so just drank a protein shake (didn't want to drink DH's shakes cuz he uses them while at work). Hopefully that'll tide me over until lunch. But I'm determined that there is really NO excuse for me not to be able to exercise today. If I watch the time I should be able to clean a bit (yes, my house is THAT messy that it seems I'm always cleaning and not getting anywhere) and still get some exercise in. I even considered doing the fast....but figured it's not a good idea while TOM is around. So tabling that option. I'm on my last soda...so no more of that (well, not counting bowling nights). So I'll be forced to drink water That's my plan anyway--and afraid to step on the scale so skipping this weeks WI on Saturday

Good Morning

I slept in I mean....really slept in!! I havent been sleeping well the last couple weeks and I think its catching up with me

I need to get some cleaning done around here too....Im starting to see the dustbunnies move!! Im not feeling very motivated...so we'll see. I might wait until they come out and bite my ankles.

Got my workout in yesterday and got on the eliptical for the first time. Wow!! sure could feel it....and today in my butt cheeks ! so if I keep it up, once the fat is gone from my rear, its going to look quite nice.

Motivation.......I need some!! Energy is drained, I need to snap out of this!

Alright, Im off to a very late start to my day, have a good one ladies!

Robin, chasing dust bunnies around the house burns calories. As long as they don't turn into dust horses, you are fine. When they get big enough to take over, well then . . .

Sherry - WTG on getting into those 18s. That's my next goal. Congrats on getting to go full time too -- that's great.

I found a yummy treat yesterday. I was freezing cold, so I took a low carb hot chocolate packet, added 3-4 drops of almond extract, cinnamon, allspice and ginger -- it was very tasty. Only 4 grams of carbs for the cup.

Robin: Just look at it this way...you're feeling the exercise do you REALLY want to UN-do all that hard work?? Do dust bunnies mate? I think they have here

Hockey: Sounds delicious..but way too tempting to me right now. I get hooked on things (it seems) very easily. So I've got to behave.

So far so good..but the leftover candy is calling me. Would be called cheating if I ate carrots instead? *sigh* how come they can't be on induction? Well, if it comes down to the candy or carrots I'm heading for the fridge!! At least I'll call THAT a success Hmm...I think FREEZING the Valentine's day candy would be a good idea. I HATE hard candy

I eat a carrot or two every once in awhile. Just the small baby carrots. Not many and raw. I don't think they are too high in carbs, since they have so much fiber, and lots of vitamins.

I haven't been buying much candy, although there is a low carb white chocolate that I was getting at Trader Joe's that was wonderful.. hard not to eat too much of it though.

As far as house work? Set a timer and do 15 minutes worth of cleaning. Once you get started and know you can stop in 15 minutes it is much easier to get motivated.

I did almost an hour on the exercise bike today. Well it was really about an hour and 20 minutes, but I was watching a movie at the time so part of that time I had to slow down a little so I could hear some of the quieter parts.

After the workout I got on the scale and I'm down to 246! One more pound to my mini goal and then another 3 to my next goal. Once I'm at that next goal I will be back down 40 pounds of the original 50 I lost back in 2000. I want the regained weight off SO bad I can taste it. Then I can start looking at "new territory". I'm not sure whether to be excited or terrified of that place. Judging by the way I've been doing so far though, if I can just keep my mind in the right spot I'll get there. I honestly think that most of this is a mental struggle more than physical. Keep your mind focused on what you want, on small steps to get there and you can do it. For me the danger is letting go of my focus or getting bored or starting to feel overwhelmed. As long as I can keep my determination, I can do what is necessary to remove the weight.

I really was surprised to see the 246... I expected to see 246.5 first, but I just skipped that one.

Hi everyone!
I am really feeling the pain today. We learned hair cuts yesterday and I did A LOT of squatting to cut the manicine's head and then I rode last night only did 1 mile though. Today I am having a hard time getting up and down and even walking at times. My legs have even given out on my a time or two today. No riding for me tonight. I did hit the valentine cookies last night. Doing good food wise today, ok on water. I'm really struggling getting my water in throughout the day at the salon, any ideas??? I have taken water bottles and am have that, but just get so busy doing things that I forget or can't at the time I am thinking about it. Well, no personals today gonna go put some bengay on the legs. Have a great night and see you all tomorrow.

Thats it!! Has to be why I have so many!! Couldnt possibly because I dont clean often You know I always picture the dustbunnies from "The Big Comfy Couch" but when they get big, they grow nasty looking

Bec, suggestion is to get a watch with an alarm on it or some kind of timer. Set it to go off every hour and when it goes off, drink an 8 oz glass of water. You can drink 8 oz pretty fast. That will give you your 64 oz for the day in an 8 hour shift. Or set it to go off every 30 minutes if you want more water.

Blew today (Wednesday). Going to send the rest of the candy w/DH tomorrow. No more temptation!!! I need to find my Atkins book and start putting BIG notes all over the place. TOM is making cravings nasty...and I believe someone gave the fat lady reign inside me again. I need to tame the beast before I gain ALL the weight back. Might need a "reality check" and take a picture of myself. Scare myself silly!! Tomorrow I've declared a no school day as they're calling for nasty weather and not sure the school system will be sensible. So I'll make the girls keep me accountable and tell DH NO MORE JUNK for me! Time to get serious. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Good Morning

Brenda~ enjoy your day with your girls My dd is good at keeping me op too. She reminds me that I get cranky when I eat that stuff

Went and did a bit of cardio last night after supper. But it was a bit much for some reaon. I think maybe because I was already tired, and worked it a bit too much. So...........I have to remember my age, and go slower!! geez, this getting older really sucks! Today is another day, and I'll go again, but I'll work out a bit smarter today!

My dd, has discovered msn messanger and LOVES to call mom when she is at dad's so her and I can play checkers Im not so sure how the ex likes that, but I love that she doesnt want to be disconnected from me

Have a great day ladies!

Alright. This day didn't start out good. Woke up to things falling. Well it was the toilet car (wooden "car" made with a toilet seat for the seat and a plunger for stearing wheel. It's cute. ) AND youngest DD's beta fish. Seems the cats wanted to see what it was up to. ARGH! I'll be surprised if it lives (fins are missing, and it wasn't healthy to begin with). School is cancelled. They're calling for 6-12 inches of snow. I don't think they know what we'll get. DH is at work so I'll be worried about him. And add to it my neck is stiff and it makes for an interesting day. I had gone back to bed after rescuing the fish from the floor and letting the dog out....but I'm STILL tired (TOM does that to me). I need to buy different vitamins I think. Well, eating and water wise I'm GOING to be OP today!!

Ya'll are so inspiring.. Truely! It is nice to see that you all have your days like I do, and I am soooo not alone!

You all have given me some really good giggles this morning. I am early spring cleaning my house.. I mean the down and dirty stuff too! The dust bunnies mating.. cracked me up. I have actually caught a few here in my house fornicating in which I had to take a broom and break them up! I related, laughed, and kept giggling under my breath for a bit longer.

I should have been hanging out in this section the most all along! Thanks ladies...
