Day 1!
yesterday I started atkins...I won't count my breakfast because I started at lunch (had to go grocery shoppin in the morning) here is what I ate, tell me what you think!
Lunch: small salad (almost 1 cup?) with spinach, romaine, and mozerella (no dressing) small piece of grilled fish covered in garlic butter 7 cheese cubes Dinner: 3 egg omelette with grilled chicken, spinach, tomato, onion, and cheddar cheese snack: cheese cubes (my jello wasnt ready yet! heh) total net carbs: 13NC (i had more, i had a muffin for breakfast which in itself had 15nc! :mad: but didnt start atkins till lunch so I'm not counting it!) |
Sounds good but don't go too low.....you should be at 20 net carbs per day. I know yesterday with the muffin you had you would have been but since we aren't counting that ;)......
You may need to also watch the amount of cheese you have especially in induction. It slows down some people...but me...I would be lost without it. Although once you have been on this for a while you don't want as much cheese. You can have dressing on your salad too...just watch what the label says. Stay away from sugars. Welcome to the group! |

Don't forget the water!!!! Sorry, I've no idea of what to put over everything. Maybe a spicy mustard? Or some type of seasoning? Or how about Worceshire sauce?
