Nuts
 

I am planning snacks for my SuperBowl Party and was wondering if anyone has ideas about nuts. I used to make a roasted nut snack with brown sugar and spices a sort of sweet and hot and it was really good. Does anyone think it would work with Splenda in place of the sugar? The recipe calls for the sugar and spices to be mixed and then tossed onto the warm roasted nuts. I can't find the Sugar Twin brown sugar and think the Splenda will work.

Otherwise, we are having LC beer and soft drinks and lots of water of course. Ribs and chicken wings of all varieties and some veggies with dips, mostly brocoli and green beans, my favorites.

Liza, I don't see why not. Just make sure you get the baking splenda rather than the packets. Sounds like a good party menu ;)

I've read similar recipes that use Splenda -- I bet it will work out great. Yum!
