LowCarbLiving Magazine
Just wondering if anyone else has tried or is subscribing to this magazine ? I currently bought a subscription & I like the mag so far. Has recipes & new products for me to look out for that are low carb. Also has links & things that is totally low carb related. Has success stories as well. Alot of Atkins stories. There is a cookbook I am buying that was advertised in the mag, low carb recipes for slow cookers. This would be perfect for me !! When I get the book I can scan & upload recipes for those interested.

Yup- there's a woman on the "magazine circuit" that we all swap magazines after we're done with them and she gave me a copy of it (I kept it- didn't pass it on :lol: ) I ripped out the subscription card and mailed it to my parents like hint hint, get it for me for a Christmas present, and I got my first issue a couple days ago. I love it! I love the success stories and everything.
I saw the slow cooker recipe book- I'm interested in that too- :lol: I sent that page to my parents too- they always get me a better homes and gardens cookbook every year- you know the red and white checkered one? yup- got them all for the last 5 years! There's a low carb show that you can listen to on the internet- saturdays at 3pm EST www.thelowcarbshow.com the host was profiled in low carb living- he lost 76 lbs- he looks good! |

I plan on buying that cookbook real soon bc I bought a slow cooker but was getting bored of the things I was cooking. Fresh ideas would be great !! I checked out the site & wow he doesnt look the same ! I did a double take !! That's some great encouragement right there !! I wish I could listen to the show but I work Saturdays !! :( Thanks for the info though ! Let me know when you get the cookbook & how you like it !! Have a great day OP !! |
