Default FUn PoSt!! What is your favorite holiday movie??

If you are like our family we have certain holiday movies we bust out for certain holidays, what is you fav holiday movies??

Well I have a list....

Thanksgiving: Planes, Trains and Automobiles (OMG so funny!! I watch it every year while cooking the turkey), Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Xmas: Top of the list... A Christmas Story
next Christmas Vacation, then we watch Charlie Brown Xmas and all the old xmas cartoons like Rudolph The rednose Reighdeer, Frosty, Santa Claus is coming to town, etc. OH and can't forget The Grinch!!! I usually start watching these the day after Thanksgiving!!

Easter: The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown and we usually throw in Willy Wonka for good measure. MMMMMMM a whole room made of candy, I would be like Augustus and fall in the Chocolate river...mmmmmmmm

Halloween: Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and I watch B- rated horror flicks by myself....(its too much for the kids) or I usually watch The Lost Boys, since it was filmed in my home town and I always miss my home on halloweenie!

HMMMMMM that is all i can think of right now....

Thanksgiving: "Home Alone" because it always seems to be on TV.

Christmas: "Christmas Vacation" is a definite favorite. I also absolutely love the old "Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer." Does anyone think the new movie, "Surviving Christmas" will be any good? I have my doubts, especially since Ben Affleck's in it, but who knows...

Halloween: None in particular, but whatever scary movie I can find on TV. If I watch them on TV, I can usually handle them. I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to scary movies...

That's really all the movies that come to mind for a particular holiday. This is a fun thread -- thanks TG!

I usually don't have specific holiday movies I watch except Christmas. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is a MUST (I even went and bought the figurines like on it. The bumble is SO cute!!!), Frosty The Snowman. Jack Frost. And there's some others I've got on a tape that I took off the tv (commercials and all of course). The tape is just about worn out so I'm gonna have to re-tape them. OH!! Can't forget the Grinch and the Who's down in Whoville!!
