Morning Leenie! You were up early! I was up then also. Rocky (the dog) woke me up wanting to go outside. I went back to bed though! Heading to the beach this weekend, so no trick or treating for me! I do look as if I swallowed a pumpkin though :lol: Hope you have a great weekend and hope little Grace has fun trick or treating!

Someone asked yesterday what a pig/chicken pickin was.... It's really just a big cookout where they cook pork/chicken on the big grills. We do it all summer/fall long here in the south!

Getting ready to head out in an hour or so to pick up grandma and then head to the beach. Hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend!

Well, another day bites the dust. Another day to try and be OP. lol. I have a neck ache which is causing my head to hurt :( DD & DH are out trying to kill a deer. It'll be her first one so I really hope she gets one :) Of course...I'm a worrier so I keep thinking "My BABY has a GUN!!!". So youngest DD and I are going to the store and picking up some things we'll need (prozac?) :lol: Then we're going to a gun store to pick up a butt plate for the gun so DD doesn't get ANOTHER bruise (yes, ANOTHER!!! She shot it last night and MY dad told her to put the gun too low so it banged her muscle and bruised her! GRRRR).
Neither DD's are going Trick Or Treating. Why you ask? Cuz I'm a mean mom and grounded the one for being a :censored: so can't take the 1 w/out the other (DH is going to be working). Oldest DD is ok with that. She's like "mom, I'm getting braces on Tuesday so I really shouldn't be eating candy anyway." HUH??? Where'd THAT common sense come from? :rofl: Anyway, told them I'd buy them some candy instead. Saves me from having to buy costumes (yah, I'm cheap along w/being mean).

Awh man i totally messed up my OP-ness yesterday, I went to a halloween party (and forgot my care pkg) I was starving and just ended up eating....damn I am a dork!! Anywho I get to eat cookies today and juice cause at 9:30 I ahve to give blood, I think i deserve a cookie for that!!! I will check back in later!

I've got a Halloween party on Saturday to go to, and I'm still not 100 percent sure what I'm going to be. I'm thinking about a pirate. I'm going to the Salvation Army over lunch to see if I can find a shirt (I've got pants and boots). Then, I'd just need some scarves and maybe a sword. I went out with a friend this week looking at costumes, and nothing really stuck out at me. She kept seeing things that were from "Pirates of the Caribbean," and I mentioned that I hadn't seen it, so went back to her house and watched it, and I loved it, so now I want to be a pirate.

I'm not sure what's going on tonight -- either football with the guys and hanging out with them or time with DH (kind of contradicting things, huh? :s: ). On Sunday, I'm playing beach volleyball -- should be a lot of fun and some good exercise.

TG: You definitely deserve a cookie for giving blood! And, parties/social situations are really hard times to stay OP if there is nothing OP to eat.

Hello everyone!

No time for personals right now - sorry! I'm waiting for a phone call about that job I don't want. They guy has it narrowed down to me and someone else. So he's doing follow-up phone interviews today. Ugh! The man can't even clean his own coffee cup! There's no way! So I'm going to be honest and just tell him that I'm not looking at this as a long term thing, but more like a stepping stone for something else, so he can at least make an informed decision.

Last night was interesting. DH and I sat around and watched movies. We bought candy yesterday for the kiddies and I swear, just the smell of it when I opened the bag almost made me ill. BUT almost a bottle of wine later, I decided that I have not had a butterfinger in 2 years and I wanted to try one. OMG it was funny! I mean, I liked it and all, but it took me over half an hour to eat this little tiny thing. :lol: It was just wayyyyyyyyy too sweet!

Funny how things change huh? ;)

Star I give you credit, I would have snarfed that candy bar down.... okay I have snarfed a few w/in seconds. Not proud thats for sure.

Its not the candy bar that scares me...its the wine! A bottle of wine around me would not be long for this world...and so many carbs!...thats why "I" go for the straight fifth of vodka :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:

LOL - alcohol and shoes are my 2 biggest weaknesses.
