Hey Everyone!

Just thought I would post real quick and let you know that the ultrasound went GREAT and that IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH decided that he did want to know what it was, so he stayed in the room with us! I knew that he would change his mind! It was so neat. We could see her eyes, ears, nose, mouth, butt, spine, legs...etc! She moved around a lot and for that I was glad! I had been told to eat something sweet before I went and that would get the baby moving. I ate chocolate and drank a soda :lol: The tech asked if we wanted to know the sex...I said YESSSSSSS :lol: She looked around and said....I see nothing between the legs...It's a Girl! DH was a little shocked I think. I was worried that he would be upset as he was really wanting a little boy! But he was grinning from ear to ear, so think that he's happy! We are just so glad that she appears healthy! They said she weighs a little over a pound now!! I'm so excited! Just thought I'd share my news with you all!

My Hubby wanted a girl and I was kinda wanting a boy but not really, deep inside I wanted a girl. And we have a girl lol. Grace Ann !!!! 3 years old now...old fart.

Oh Lisa, that is SO exciting! Thank God for beautiful healthy babies and happy healthy mommies!

I'll have to admit, I loved being pregnant, but my baby is 12 yrs old now :(

Thanks for sharing the news with us. That is SO great that she's healthy and that DH doesn't seem upset. I know my DH wanted boys also (we have 2 girls)...but I told him they'll be able to do everything HE can do....except pee standing up (while aiming of course) and get a girl pregnant :lol: They fish and now this year oldest DD is going hunting with him.
Are you all decided on a name??

WOHOO!!!! It's a girl! Congratulations Lisa....glad everything is ok. Now we can shop specifically for PINK things :lol:

YEAH LISA!!!! I always wanted a little gal, but got 2 boys instead, but my sister had a girl. Feel free to name her after me!!!! Ashley is a great name or of course you can just go with Theo'sgirl!!! ahahahahaha Just kidding! I have to get my suggestions in just like Leenie!! :)

Thanks Everyone!! I;m still so excited! I didn't really care what it was I would be happy either way, but I really deep down wanted a girl to name after my mom who passed away suddenly almost 5 years ago. Her name was Linda. The name we have decided on is Lindy Emma-Grace. Emma is after DH's grandmother and I have just always liked the name Grace. Brenda, I told DH the same thing about hunting and fishing. We are very avid fishermen/women and so I am sure that this baby will be fishing. He hunts a lot, and am sure that she will be doing that also!

Lisa-our kids bait their own hooks and even take their fish of themselves. They're almost of the age where we're going to teach them to clean them :lol: That means I don't have to. WOOHOO!!!
