ok ladies, has this ever happened to you?

I have lost almost 30 lbs, but something has been nagging at me, the one and only thing I truley miss was a DQ cherry malt, I promised myself I wouldn't have any until the full 30 lbs was missing, but yesterday I couldn't take it anymore! so I got one, and you know what I took one bite, and I don't remember them tasting like that? it wasn't very good, so I thought ok maybe its just my guilt getting in the way of enjoying this thing, so I tried another bite? nope it was gross.. they don't taste as good as I remember>>so in the trash it went, so has this ever happened to anyone else who has tried their usedtobe favorite food, that after not having them for a period of time, when you do try them their gross?

Absolutely! My tastes have changed a great deal. Sweets were never my thing. It was pasta and potatoes. One day I decided to have some pasta, just a little, and it was so bland and unsatisfying! So, yes it happens. And it will keep happening. But it's nice, too. Other people may feel bad for me because of what I don't eat, but it turns out that I'm still eating exactly what I want to. ;)

I don't remember what I ate--but it absolutely was TERRIBLE!!! My tastes have changed. And I'm hoping the longer I do this WOE that they'll constantly turn up that junk food tastes icky. I bought some oatmeal to see if my tastes changed on that. Nope, still tastes gross. Oh, forgot to mention, it was low carb (flax??) oatmeal.
