I'm Sooo Thirsty!

For the last 2 days I've had this INCREDIBLE thirst. I just can't quench it! Do you guys ever get this? Is it my body trying to flush something out?

Odd. NEVER been this thirsty in my life.

StarPrincess 05-13-2004 06:07 PM

No worries - it's normal. Your body has figured out that it likes hydration ;)

I feel like I'm truging through the desert, except that I'm not hot. I hope it lets up soon.

Thanks for the reply!

You'll even out.

(this from the girl who drinks nearly a gallon of water a day to make up for the alcohol!)

I've been abnormally thirsty this week also. I thought it was just because it was hot outside. I just bought some orange Crystal Light. I'm going to make some and bring it to work. I'd like a change from plain water once in a while w/out having to restort to pop.

Me to Brenda, I love plain iced tea (unsweetened) but the CL orange is wonderful and quenches your thurst real well.

lady_adnerb 05-14-2004 08:19 AM

I'm used to nestea. And I usually put EXTRA stuff in to make it sweet. But the CL iced tea is pretty tasty!! I think I could get used to that.

Question: Water's good for you...But if you add stuff to it (CL) does that mean it's not as good for you? Do we still count that as our water consumption??

RavenL33 05-14-2004 11:49 PM

I don't think you're meant to count anything except plain water in your water count - sparkling, flat and tap :)

lady_adnerb 05-15-2004 07:40 AM

ah...the blah stuff. ok. With my water glass I still think I can down the 64 oz required. That IS all that's required right??

RavenL33 05-16-2004 02:43 AM

Minimum. They recommend extra for each 25lb you want to lose...or something
I don't get near 64oz most days :(

lady_adnerb 05-16-2004 09:20 AM

Oh crud. Just realised I'm NOT getting the 64 oz needed!! Time to up the water
