What is your favorite......

  • Piece of excersie equipment?

I seriously want to get this Tread Climber machine ( www.treadclimberfitness.com ) but it is VERY expensive.

I was just curious what machines every one else liked and why?
  • The eliptical machine!!! Easy on the knees and gives you one **** of a workout, really makes you sweat!
  • My VCR It allows me to do Tae-Bo (when I REALLY feel energetic) or WATP (when I want a good workout w/out killing myself).
  • The Remote
  • I relate...after runnin Dale to the ground, comin off the ropes with a flying crucifix, giving him the peoples elbow, sitting on his head, giving him an indian burn, prying his fingers off of it, throwin in an extra knee to the ribs and then trying to get back to the TV before he recovers really makes me feel as if Ive worked out.
  • Too funny Marie! We have the baseball "extra innings" at our house, so that's all that's on - I can totally relate!

Seriously though, my favorite has to be the treadmill. Once I started running I've tried to do other things, but I'm addicted. I just don't work as hard/sweat as much doing anything else. Must be an endorphin thing.
  • Marie's been watching too much WWE

I love the balance ball! But, being a pilates girl, my favorite piece of equipment is no equipment.
  • OOOHHHHH....the people's elbow!! Love it!!!
I also love Stone Cold Steve Austin. The attitude!!!
  • Rowdy Roddy Piper comes down to 'my' bar on occasion.
  • Star - Can I ask which bar is yours. Just curious since we're neighbors! Curious too as to where Rowdy Roddy Piper has a few.
  • It's called MaGuffy's pub. There's one in Beaverton, but the one that's mine is in Hillsboro. I see him in there maybe once a year - very nice guy.

You should come out some time. I'm normally there singing karaoke on the weekends.
  • My wrestling clain to fame....I used to work for Hulk Hogan's uncle so we got to see him from time to time, very nice guy, very friendly.
  • Star - That sounds like fun. I've gone (not there) to drink and watch others sing, but I'd never do it. HORRIBLE voice, yet another thing inherited from Dad. That never really stopped him from singing though. He sorta thought it was funny to torture others with it. Me, I'm not that brave. It is fun to watch other's though.

Thanks for the invite. Saturday is my Bday so I'm going out w/my BF and some other friends that night. Maybe we'll drop in for a couple drinks.
  • I'll be there! Just ask the bouncer at the door where Brandi (not the bartender, Brandy) is. They can always find me.

DH and I actually met doing karaoke there. It's a fun local bar and there's always someone I know there so it's comfortable. As for singing, I live by the philosophy that the drunker you are, the better I sound
  • Absolutely! The drunker I am, the better others sound, even look sometimes .
