Ugh, Fooled again!
 

Ok, I got all excited that one of my fav. places to eat, Arby's, was offering a lowcarb wrap and damnit if the public hasn't been duped again! :mad:

I go there last night to get dinner for everyone and of course was looking forward to trying one of their very decent sized new "lowcarb" wraps called Arby's Lowcarbys.

So I get there and I'm looking all over the big advertisments on the posters and menu boards for the carb count........can't find it. Can we say warnings flashing a million miles a minute now?!

Finally I find the carb count listed on one of the little poster board cut out advertisments sitting on the far corner of the counter. In teeny tiny print it says 17 carbs!!!! :eek

Hello???????????? Just whoooooooo is that LC to? I mean, in the least its reduced carb! Ugh, I can not wait for the FDA to regulate this stuff!

What's funny is that people were ordering them out the rear the whole time I was there. I'm just thinking....doesn't anybody care that is borderline false advertising? I mean, I know it's probably got lower carbs than anything else on the menu but COME ON! I wonder if any of them even knew or were just anxious to say they were eating LC.

That happened to my sister at Noah's Bagels, their so called LOw Carb bagel has 20 net carbs!!!

Yikes. :lol: The mood I'm in lately? I'd have said "OMG, 17 Carbs per WRAP?? Who are they kidding about this lowcarb stuff?" out loud. I'm kind of rude lately that way. :lol:

I asked the guy at Wendy's if their Choccolo stuff contained sugar. Instead of answering me, he goes "No, no! You see, you want to know how much fat is in it!" I say, "No, please tell me if there is sugar in it please" Wendys goon: "Of course! Everything needs sugar in it so it tastes good! Why you ask? It's low-fat! Why do you want to know?"
At this point I was on the verge of telling him off for being a rude SOB, instead I thanked him for his dubious answer and left the counter, Choccolo-less. :)

We ent through the drivethrough like last thursday and the sign for the wraps on the window says 17 too- of course I had a fit over that one (luckily I already had a carls junior low carb burger!)

I got it right off of the sign. Its there on the website too Star. There are 2 sections of low carbys, the first section, none are offered in my city. The second section, right below the first, is what we have and it says 18 net carbs in red. It still makes me mad to think about it :lol:
