Shimma 04-13-2004 05:38 PM

my thoughts exactly...... must be loaded with sugar alcohols.... I soooo want good LC cookies. The mix I bought SUCKED cause I happen to hate almond flour

lady_adnerb 04-13-2004 05:39 PM

ooohhhh..coookiesssss!!!!!!!! ok. I will NOT eat any. Hmph.

StarPrincess 04-13-2004 05:41 PM

I still think that if the FDA does what it says it's gonna do and tells manufacturer's that sugar alcohols count and make them stop duping the public, that it's gonna turn this whole industry on it's ear. I can't wait!

Well, the regular food industry has been in an uproar anyway with everyone scrambling to make LC products... unfortunately sugar alcohols are a really super quick fix. Has anyone checked out the LC ketchup from Heinz??? It's supposedly got 1 gram of carbs but I haven't checked it out to see what else it has and I sooooooooooo miss ketchup.

Oooh and I found some fabulous flatbread at superwalmart up near the deli. It's huge and has 8 carbs in the whole thing. My sis and I used it for pizza crust last night and it was soooooooooooooo yummy!

OHHH.....I need to find something like that. I had a subway wrap (well, lettuce, and a slice of their ham, onion and peppers) and it was ok. I could have used a lowcarb tortilla and done the same thing  so next time I need an on-the-go meal I plan on making my own. But I could use new ideas for "pizza" crusts!!

Oh man those cookies are heavenly!
