Tuesday 3/30
Well, it's Tuesday and once again I've not got my hunters safety homework done. I'll have to rush through it (again). It's scary cuz next week we shoot shotgun and 22's...and then the following week we have our test. I feel like such an idiot all the time (and not just when it comes to that) that I'm sure I'll flunk. There's just SO much information I'll never remember. Well, I managed to stay OP last night and I'm looking forward to after work and doing another exercise tape. :o Did I just say that?? WOW!
You all have a great day!! |
Good morning Brenda and all to come.
Well last night I decided to go shopping in my closet and see what will and will not fit me for the summer. And to my surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it all fit in fact I gave away some from last summer that were "big" clothes. Now all I have to do is get some new stuff to spruse up the old stuff a little and I am all set. How exciting is that? I tried on one of my fancy dresses to see if it would fit for one of the weddings I have coming up and strangely the outside of the dress was kind of big but the lining was tight? :dunno: maybe the cleaners did that. Well it is off shopping for me tonight girls! Can't wait. Brenda: Study, study, study.....have to ask though...how do you study for a gun course! Shoot at things? just kidding.....you will be fine I'm sure. Well I actually have a couple of scheduled installs today so that will keep me busy. I will check in throughout the day. Have a good one. |
Hi Goils,
Just checking in to say YELLO  Today is the foot doctor, and I'll hopefully find out why my feet hurt so bad. I did however get some of Brenda's ooomph (no not that kind) and I did 1 mile yesterday :encore: folks thats ALOT for me. You know I remember feeling WONDERFUL exercising years ago, and that feeling is still with me, but my body hurts so much and I have such little time that I find every reason NOT to do it :( anyhoooozies. Watcha all got planned for today. |
Hey to all the Atkins ladies!
Froufy: It's good to see you back!! You went to Mexico, right? How was it? Where'd you go? I've been to Cozumel, and I absolutely loved it!! Brenda: That's great that you're looking forward to an exercise tape!! It won't take long, and you'll be feeling like you're missing something if you don't exercise. My exercise is another story. I had been in the great habit of walking 3 to 4 miles everyday. Then, my dad came to visit. I usually walk over my lunch hour. Well, with him here, we went out to eat at lunch -- not walk. My plan was to wake up early, which is a stretch for me, and try to get the walking in. Well, that happened one day. So, now, I haven't walked in over a week. I guess we did get some exercise in at spring training games -- walking to and from the car, but it still wasn't as much or as intense as I usually do. So, I've got to get back on track. TODAY!! Eating hasn't been bad, but it hasn't been great either. While my dad was here, he got some low-carb ice cream. So, it started becoming a habit every night to have a bowl of it with melted peanut butter over it. Yikes! At least it wasn't the regular, high-carb sugary stuff, but I still don't think that's the best habit! But, the good thing is, I had a great time with my dad. We went to five baseball games, shopping and out to eat -- my idea of a good time! Hope everyone is doing well! I hope to be able to check in more often now. Take care, Jina |
Jane: Have fun shopping! I love shopping now!! I've kind of turned into a shopaholic now. :o
Leenie: I hope the doctor can help your toosties! Let us know how it goes. (I guess people sneak in on you when it takes an hour to post... I forgot I had started!) |
Quote:
Alllright come clean, where did you find the oooomph? :p Hi Jina  hang in there, it will come back to you. Christmas threw me really off wack so I understand how you feel. That ice cream can be dangerous, the only one's I feel I have control with is the Skinny Cow low carb bars and they don't give me gas or a belly ache. Jane have a great time shopping, I'd be excited too ;) |
Good day to all!
Yesterday, I didn't eat any carbs at all so I could have red wine with friends last night. I drank way too much! Almost a whole bottle myself! Ifeel like :censored: ! My head hurts, and I feel like I totally blew what I had worked so hard for. But I still have my cheekbones, and I guess if I am going to drink, red wine is pretty low in carbs. I think it is about 2.2 per four ounces. Oh well, I had a darn good time, so it was worth it! :D Now for Advil and coffee! :coffee: Brenda: Have fun shooting things! :D and good for you on working out! I have been talking about it for a long time, but I haven't done it yet! Jane: Have a blast shopping! Congrats on the big clothes! Jina: I am glad you had fun with your dad. Splurging is allowed at times like that! Ice cream w/ melted pb sounds delish! Leenie: I hope your feet feel better :) Keep us posted! If I forgot anyone, hello, and I am sorry! I will get back later. |
Good morning ladies!!
I am at work, busy busy day ahead, DS goes back to pre-school after spring break today, Dog is at the vet to get his tail amputated (it was deformed since birth and now it is causing him trouble so he's gonna get it fixed) Yesterday I went and bought the boys bunkbeds. They love them. And I need to go to the gym today.......whew! Jane CONGRATS!!! Great job on fitting into everything! Brenda Good luck at hunters safety!! Leenie good luck at the foot doc!!!! Jina OOOOOOO jina I hadn't even thought of the melted PB on the ice cream!!! OMG!!! Cat girl!!! WHHHHHOOOOWEEE party girl! LOL :) Hope that advil works good! Talk to you all later!! PS: I made my weekly goal last week!!! YIPPEEEEEEE Now I have to post another one on the weekly goal thread! |
Good Morning Everyone
Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday! Brenda: I am thinking of taking the hunter's safety course. I really don't hunt, but we shoot clay targets a lot. They have some really good ranges here. Think it would be neat to take the class! Congrats on getting in the exercising in...wish I could get motivated to do that. Jane: Congrats on the clothes fitting! I went through my closet the other day, and lots of stuff fit. I had one box of stuff that was still packed up in the building from before we got married 4 years ago. Stuff that didn't fit, and I figured never would. Everything in that box fit, and most was too big. Isn't that a wonderful feeling!I love shopping now...I could try on stuff all day. I used to hate it! Have fun shopping! Lennie: Good luck at the foot dr. Hope he gets those footsies feeling better. And btw it's all your fault I was up so late last night... you posted that arcade, and I had to play  Jina: I know how it is when you have people visiting. Very hard to get the exercising and eating right in. I know you will be back on track soon! Catgirl: sounds as if you had a little too much fun last night  Just a little secret...when I drink too much, I take asprin or advil before going to bed and ususally wake up feeling great the next day! TG: sounds like you have a very busy day! Poor doggie....Rocky broke his tail about a year and half ago. HE was a pitiful sight. Couldn't wag his tail for 2 months. Hope you have a great day! Well, I am off today. Took a personal day for me. Not sure yet what I am going to do, may just be lazy! I will check back in later....Have a great day everyone!!!! |
Hiya all!
Ugh. Yesterday ended up being miserable for me. I got home from work and wanted to do laundry but couldn't at my apt building so I had to run to the laundromat, which is just a frightening place in and of itself... Well, the washer I picked locked up and wouldn't release my clothing to me. I had to wait forever for the maintenance guy to come around and free my clothes. Meanwhile... I had gotten a case of the munchies mid afternoon and nabbed some sort of low carb bar I had left over in my desk from way back in January when I first started. Well, I should have known better..... it had sugar alcohols... I wasn't wise to them when I first started. So, I spent the better part of the afternoon and the evening in the bathroom. Place that on top of the fact that the laundromat bathroom is YUCK... and you get one unpleasant evening. Ugh. I missed my BF last night so terribly, every time I rolled over in my sleep I tried to throw my arm over him.............. and he wasn't there. How depressing is that? So I called him this morning and woke up him just to tell him I miss him. Thankfully he was just as glad to hear from me or I think he would have been irritated at a 5:45 am wake up call!!!! Brenda: Good luck with the class and I"m glad you're loving the workouts! I can't seem to move my :censored: any further than absolutely necessary! Jane: Congrats on the clothes... that is the BEST feeling. I've been loving it! Leenie and jdogg  Catgirl: Go easy today, nurse the hangover. Lots of water! Mrs H: Have fun with your personal day! |
Good morning, O Thinning Ones!
Brenda - Have fun with hunter's safety! If my surgeon says it's ok, I'm going shooting on Saturday, so I'll be with you in spirit ;) Jane - Closet shopping is so much fun! Leenie - Hope all goes well with the dr today. You shouldn't have to be in pain. Jina - It could have been worse! It could have been fudge on that ice cream! :D Catgirl - how do you have no carbs at all? did you eat? Oy! I understand about the red wine! I can't stop myself from drinking it all if it's around me. :dizzy: TG - Hope all goes well for your pup! Mrs H! I'm all happy today because I did get some oomph in my life last night (take that any way you want to :s: ) and today is pre-op day! Yippee! I can't wait. I'm just bouncing off the walls and completely useless now. Oh! And I'm down another pound! Wa-hoo! I need to do some serious summer shopping. All my summer clothes are too big since I'm now smaller than I've been in 9 years. Even my summer shoes are all to big! What a strange thing. I'm now 7 pounds away from my lowest weight ever and I just can't believe it. Do any of you ever look at the number of pounds you've lost and just can't get around it? I'm down 63 now and it just seems completely unreal that I could have weighed that much more. When it's all said and done, I will have lost 75-80 pounds and it just seems weird. So I'm curious - is this surreal to any of you or is it just me? |
Shimma - you sneaky girl! :grouphug: missing the person you love hurts like ****. I hope it gets better for you.
|
Hi Atkins Chicks,
I am still doing Atkins, and my DH said on Saturday that I "look" slimmer! I have been doing more activities too. Last evening we went and played tennis. I love that game. But I haven't been on the scales....too scared. When I do I'll let everyone here know. Brenda, I hope you do well on your test, target practice is fun. Jane, Sounds like you have a new wardrobe. I think I'll do the same here. Leenie, I hope the foot Dr. can help, I know foot pain, once I had plantar facititis and it was a year in healing. I'll be praying for your feet. Jina, That is so cool that you got to spend all that time with your dad! Catgirl, I had a half glass of dry white wine with dinner at my inlaws Sunday night, the next day the ketosticks were barely pink. The strips are darker now so I guess it was a shortlived setback. That is a good idea to do no carbs when a greater carb fest is planned. I'll have to keep that in memory. Theo'sgirl, I hope your doggie is healed of the snip snip fast. I went to the health food store and got some of that product that Dr. Atkins uses in his cookbook called Thicken Thin, some Atkins Baking Mix and a bottle of Atkins "Ketchup". The Thicken Thin (0 carbs) worked great on some meat juice for a thick gravy. And the ketchup (1 carb per tablespoon) tastes just like ketchup to me. I haven't tried the bakemix yet. I'm having fun doing Atkins. |
I see Mrs. H, Hope you enjoy a peaceful day today.
And Shimma, I was looking at low carb bars at the health food store...I don't get it, how can they have 14 grams of carbs listed in the info box and 2 grams of fiber, then say on the front 3 carbs. Sounded fishy to me, where did the missing carbs go?? StarPrincess, Congrats on the pound gone!!! You go girl. You are getting so close! |
Brenda: Congratulations on your workout yesterday!!!! :) This is just terrific! Good luck with your class.
Jane: YAY!!! for needing new clothes. Have a blast shopping today! :) Leenie: Good luck with the foot today. Hopefully you can figure out what is going on with that. Jina: What fun you had with your dad!!! :) I'm glad you had such an enjoyable visit and I bet you'll get right back on track. Catgirl: I think I miss wine more than I miss pasta! All those tannens can give you one heck of a hangover though... I cannot imagine drinking while on Atkins. Back in college, I would eat tons of carbs and grease the day after along with soda after soda to recover. Boy are those days over for me!!! Theo's girl: My goodness you are busy!!! Congrats on making goal!!! Mrs. H: Have a wonderful time taking it easy and being lazy!! :) You deserve a relaxing day. Shimma: I am so sorry you had a hard day yesterday. :( It will get better!! I promise. :) I always feel as if the world is out to bother me my first few days on Induction. Today I woke up grumpy and in tears. I dumped a glass of water all over the futon and splattered bacon grease on my arm!! I swear the first four days are grump city for me and if it can happen, it will!! *hugs* Hang in there!!! StarPrincess: YAY! for getting your eyes done so you never have to worry about glasses or contacts again. Wow! You must be so excited. :) Have a blast shopping for new clothes. I know what you mean about weight loss... not because of significant weight loss yet but just looking at pictures from before I had my daughter. I was half the person I am today literally!!! When I lose all my weight I will be half the person I am today. I am excited about that and praying since I am only 29 that my skin will tighten up as I go!!! Have a great day today and you are in my thoughts and prayers for your eye surgery. Journey Girl: I'm glad you are having fun on Atkins. I keep telling myself to just get past the initial 40 or so pounds and then I can eat more low carb meals. It is neat reading about the fun products and foods everyone in OWL gets to eat. :) Today I am back in Induction. I had to go grocery shopping yesterday so I ate low carb but not Induction low carb. Last night I watched a program on Discovery Health that really brought obesity and the importance of weight loss home to me. After a certain weight and BMI your body is literally being suffocated by the fat you carry!!! They had pictures and diagrams. I sat there and was in SHOCK!!! I checked my BMI for my body. I am only 5'5" with a small frame and my BMI is 35+ so I am in danger for SO many health problems. I got all upset for a bit and then remembered I have all the tools I need to handle this issue. I have a wonderful diet I can use for life. I have support. I know what I am supposed to do!! I just have to do it. So I woke up today with renewed commitment and energy. I have had a lot of stress but I see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Beyond that, stress IS a trigger for me. I'll know I have really accomplished something when I can manage my stress without heading to the kitchen to eat comfort food! So that is a goal now as well. I also have to accept that being fat is a safety mechanism for me. I equate being thin to some bad things that happened in my past when I was a teenager. That said, being thin now won't make those bad things come back and hurt me again. I know this logically. Dealing with it emotionally is a lot harder! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!! ladies for all your kind words and wonderful support. I so appreciate that I can come in here and talk to you and get and give support. I can be honest when I screw up and get encouragement without lectures. What a great group! You are all to be commended!! I cannot wait until I can show that I have lost my 25/50/plus pounds. :) |
Michele,
I'm right there with ya sweety, I hear what you are saying. We can do this. I can't wait to hear about your 25/50/+ loss!! Don't stop thinkin' about tommorrow. |
Journeygirl: Congrats on the compliment from DH!! Bet that was great! I've got the Atkins bake mix. It's ok I guess. I haven't tried it on anything but brownies though
Star: Oh lucky you! You'll have to let us know how the surgery goes. Are you nervous at all? I look at my weight and can't figure out HOW it (25 pounds so far) has disappeared. And with what I eat? It's great. And I can't imagine being as close to goal as you are! Congrats!!! Shimma: I'm glad I don't have to worry about laundromats anymore. They're pretty scuzzy in my area. It was bad enough doing the laundry in the basement of the apartment building we used to live in (NOBODY ever went down there..so who knows HOW long a person could hide there!!) Mrs H:  have a great day off!! TG: Congrats on making your weekly goal! Catgirl: Sorry to hear you're not feelng well. Hope the advil and coffee help Leenie: Ok. I admit it. I found oomph yesterday. Um. Hm. How to explain. Well, let's just say DH had something to do w/it :sssh: Soo...then I needed to exercise more. Jina: Glad you had fun w/your dad. That's the main thing!! Jane: well, there's more to the course than shooting. You have to know the parts of the gun, different gun carries, etc. Tons of stuff that to me (who doesn't hunt) doesn't make sense. Congrats on the clothes "shopping"!! I've still not got the guts to do that!! Well, I'm at work. The nasty boss gone (only the nice boss is here) so I get to goof off. WOOHOO!! I've done work this morning so I figured I'd pop in here and see what's up :) I always get lost when I get home so I have a hard time catching up on you all (one of the bad things of posting first. lol) OH!! We had stupid SNOW again! GRRR So much for spring being here!!! |
Michele: I think a lot of us are flipping back to induction. You'll do great! Congrats on learning what triggers you! I've yet to figure that one out. Life? Keep up the good work-you'll get to where you want to be yet :)
|
Southern Girl, I don't think I will be drinking anytime soon! :dizzy: I am not a big drinker, but I love red wine. I must still be in some form of ketosis, because I am not hungry, and I have energy. I think we are supposed to be able to incorporate stuff like wine sometimes. I think the next time, I will pass! I feel much better now!
Star: I ate yesterday, but only meat and eggs. Yuck! I didn't eat any veggies at all. Pretty unhealthy, but I wanted to party! Pretty unhealthy too! This is how silly I sounded yesterday: I said hey if red wine only has 2.2 carbs per four ounces, I can have five glasses! That will be my 20 grams. Do I sound like a wino or what? before  after :stars: |
Shimma: Sorry you are down. Hope this cheers you up a little :grouphug: :D
|
Catgirl: Well, at least you had fun right? I normally don't drink but I had a Bacardi O (Silver). :( I guess it wasn't low carb. GRRR. So looks like my hopes of going back into ketosis soon is down the drain. Oh well. It'll happen (some year)
|
If it makes you feel better, I had 2 miller lights last night. And I don't even like beer! I know I'm a drinker, though. So if a friend wants to meet at the bar and I don't want to go overboard, I'm much better off sipping on 2 beers over 3 hours than downing 3 hard drinks in that time or less.
OMG - I'm a lush! :o |
Hi everyone,
Well, I'd say I've been busy as a bee lately, but I don't think bees ever experience the crushing amount of stress and dread that was associated with all the work I've had the past couple days/weeks. But, I turned in two huge assignments today, so I've got a little bit of a reprieve. Last night was one of my best friends birthdays, so I had to tear myself away from my work to help celebrate. We started with pizzia at another firends house, and there was absolutely nothing I could eat. Since I was hungry I had to resort to the Atkins bar I'd been saving in my purse in case I absolutely needed something sweet when everyone else was eating cake. I'm hoping that now that I've got more time I'll be eating less fake food. Tonight my cooking club is having a cookie theme night, but I really want to stop eating those horrible bars, so I'm just going to have to be tough and stay away from sweets alltogether. Brenda- I have the same problem with my Tuesday Genetics Lab that you have with hunters safety. I'd really like to start getting mine done by Monday night, but it just never seems to happen. Jane- Closet shopping and new-clothes-becuase-your-old-ones-are-too-big shopping: lucky, lucky you! Have a great time. Leenie- Hope you get to the bottom of this foot problem so you have less of a reason not to exercise. Catgirl- Everyone needs a night like that once in a while. I hope the hangover heals quickly. TG- Sorry about your dog's tail! Mrs. H- Enjoy your lazy day. Jina- Don't worry, you'll get back on track. Although, that ice cream with peanut butter thing sounds really good. Shimma- Sorry you had such a bad day. At least you have clean clothes. I'm so behind on laundry I'm completely out of socks. Star- good luck with your surgery tomorrow! Journey- Nice to meet you. Michelle- Good luck with induction. Also, I've seen some of those Discovery Channel Obesity shows, and never have I been more motivated to lose weight! Have a good day. Abbie |
Wow, busy place today.......ok here goes.................
Genghis Cohen: You gave up pizza for an Atkins bar!!!!! I am bowing down to you as we speak! Sorry about all the stress you are under. Will things get better by summer? Are you in school? StarPrincess: We can be lushes together.....I find it very hard to give up my wine. I have been good lately though during the week....hasn't made my weight fly off either....... hhhmmmm. Let us know how the pre-op went. lady_adnerb: I know what you mean about the afternoon posts....you and I are usually the early birds so when we check in in the afternoon there are so many people to respond to. Have fun goofin off this afternoon. southerngirl: I'm glad the program helped you see what you need to change. Being thin will definitely not make the "bad" things come back. You are a different person now I'm sure in so many ways. Try to stay as stress free as possible. That never helps us. Journey Girl: I use the ketchup. Tastes just like regular ketchup to me. I had some shrimp last night and made cocktail sauce with some Atkins ketchup and horseradish. Geez....never did think to check the count on the horseradish. duh. Shimma: Skanky bathrooms :censored: missing boyfriend :grouphug: Mrs H: Have fun on your day off. Boy I wish I could take a day to just have fun. Have to wait till next month. Trying on clothes is still not one of my favorite things to do but maybe by the summer I will be at goal and will shop everyday!!!!! Theo'sgirl: Congrats on making your weekly goal! :cp: Poor puppy....he will have to wag his butt from now on when he is happy. Catgirl67: Was it bar red wine or good red wine? Bar wines will make you pay twice...once at the bar and again the next day. Cheap wine is a killer! Hope you feel better later. There is always tomorrow. I'm thinking of a song............................................. ok, that is all the afternoon posts......hello again to the morning group  |
Jane, it was bar wine! OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
OMG!!! Jane, we must educate Catgirl! (I suddenly feel like a superhero  )
No bar wine!!! :nono: |
tsk, tsk, tsk........kids these days. When will they learn. You are right Star we must educate the youth of today.
Bar wine = :stars: Confucius say...when going out with girlfriends no drink bar wine unless you are only going to have one or two. |
Afternoon Ladies,
Today at work was horrible as I'm assuming the rest of the week will be. My boss is out of town for classes so we have the big boss running the show until she gets back.. OYE this man is ruthless! I just want to explode and tell these top guns HEY!!! Have a little damn respect for us peons because without us YOU would not be making the kind of money you are now, and what makes YOU so much better then ME just because you make more money????? If you want to be treated with respect and you want people to listen to you.. then maybe you should treat us with the same common curtiousy!!!!!! ARGGGG.. ok a little stress there yes, thanks for letting me vent :) Brenda - I'm sure you will do just great on your test, even if you cant remember all the information I'm sure they wont have each tidbit on the test. Target practice sounds like a thrill.. have fun with it! Jane - Shopping Fun! I can't wait until I get to the stage where I can't wear anything I have and I have to give a healthy "big" box to goodwill. It must feel great! Leenie - I hope your doctors appointment goes well and they find out whats giving you your problems. Painful feet are simply the worst! Jdogg - Daddy was down and you two had a great time! Why fret over the icecream and a few missed walks? You have the rest of your life to make up for that one week of not so good eating.. but spending time with your father doesnt happen everyday, cherish THAT moment :) Cat - Sounds like you had a great time and I hope the aftereffects wear off for you soon ;) Theo - Busy days are always a tad hectic, good for you still making time to squeeze in the gym! MrsH - Have a great lazy day! I hope your weather is a tad better then ours here.. they predicted snow but thank heavens is only rain! Shimma - Sounds like you had the night from ****! I hate laundromates! Cheer up on the bf.. he's still with you even if not next to you, I'm sure he's missing you just as much as you miss him. Time apart always makes the time together more appreciated and enjoyed. Star - Way to go on the pound down! I have been noticing that my shoes are getting a tad sloppy. They just don't seem to fit like they used to. On your question tho, I'll have to wait to answer it until I reach a significant amount of loss, which I WILL do :) Journey - Lucky you on finding the thick n thin.. It seems to be a rare item around these parts. My mother uses it in a ton of things and she makes this awesome creamed cabbage with it. I'll have to steal her secret recipe and post it. South - I have to say one of the most enjoyable things about this woe is watching my BMI drop. Every week I plug in my new weight and see it go down a bit. I can't wait until I'm in the "healthy" zone! Genghis - Yea those bars aren't so great, but I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I mean whats worse.. one of the bars or that big piece of cake topped off with some cookies! BRAVO for avoiding the pizza!! Now all I do is wonder how many of my posts would it take to wrap complete around the world  Hope everyone has a delightful evening! |
Hi Gang!
You are NEVER going to believe the doozy of a day I had yesterday!! I did so good, and got up to do my run at 5AM. Everything is going well! Got home showered, got My DD off to school, DS stayed home with a flu bug and DH worked from home. I dropped DD off then went to the dentist to have a crown replaced. Well, the doctor gives me the first shot of novacaine and guess what?? I passed out!!! OMG! When I came to a couple of seconds later, I was sitting upright and had a cool compress on my head. To make a long story short, I ended up at my GP's yesterday afternoon and found out that Because of my workout in the morning, my heart was already pumping hard. With the stuff that they had in that novacaine, it caused me to pump harder and thus I passed out... Note to self... NO WORKOUTS BEFORE GOING TO THE DENTIST! I did get the crown worked on. But I felt like :censored: for the rest of the day!!! The good news is that I am down a pound this week! The bad news is that I am allergic to exercise! Actually for 3 days in a row, when I worked out (Cardio only) I break out in hives on my forearms! Seriously! The doctor things it might be heat realated, but I have to call my allergist on thursday to see what he has to say about it. Very very weird! Oh yesterday was so gorgeous I had to put shorts on.. so Remember the shorts that fell off me a couple of weeks ago? I put those back on with a belt... I am going to go shopping during Easter break for some summer clothes! :) Someone asked how the bars could say 3 grams on the front with 12 carbs and 2 of fiber... the rest are sugar alcohols. Atkins says that they can be subtracked from the totals because the do not impact us. But depending on who you are, you might have to take them into consideration. Some people stall out with them. Some people have a laxative effect with them (Me included) others have no problems. I use them a lot because they save me during TOM! I wish I could get more personal.. but I have to update my website and get my April newsletter ready to go! :) Talk to you soon! - Hugs to all! |
Wow, Karen! I knew that novacane has epinephrine in it (synthetic adrenaline) but it never would have occured to me that if my heart rate was already up it could make me pass out! Yikes!
Glad that you're ok - and I hope all goes well with the allergist! |
OMG Karen that is horrible! Glad everything worked out ok though.
See I knew exercise could be bad :D |
LOL! Thanks star! I could not remember the name of that stuff that was in it! But that was it!
Jane:  Its only bad if you do it before you go to the dentist! LOL! |
Trazzie: What a horrid boss! I am so sorry you are having to deal with that.
Karen: YAY!!! to working out. I am so sorry about the hives and passing out at the dentist. I'm glad you're okay though! |
Karen What an experience eh? I think you just opened all our eyes to a new concern. I never would have even thought about it. Happy to hear your ok from it all.
|
Oh wow. Something new to think about. I go to the dentist tomorrow to have my teeth cleaned. My crowns have been bothering me (never had root canals done) and I'm not looking forward to it at all. I don't have to worry about exercise making me pass out--my fear of dentists could do that for me!!
