In spite of the agony my back is in today from the "lamb wrestling" yesterday, I so far have managed 1 mile for today...will see how it feels later as to if will pushing for more today or not...

Today is my "5 month Anniversary" of being on Atkins! And thankfully (due in large part to this "challenge" and all of y'all) my "plateau" has broken...I was so praying that on this day I would have a "milestone" figure to say I'd lost "___ pounds in 5 months"....So, the scales were my friend today when they showed me that I have lost 41.5 pounds in 5 months! Down 4 pounds from the plateau that I first reached mid-Decemeber and have have bouncing up & down from...HOORAY! Hopefully the pounds will continue to fall off!!!

Adding 1 more for today...think that's all the back is gonna stand for today...back at it tomorrow...
Thanks theo'sgirl! I've been waiting a long time for that plateau to break, and so hope that it continues to go at a "free-fall"! Seriously, THANKS to all of you!!! This is being such an inspiration for me! It's kind of like, instead of "Be all you can be", more like "Be HALF of what you are!"
I have as of today's weight caught up (or is it "down") with my sister...she started on Atkins a month before I did, and was at least 10 or 15 pounds heavier...she hasn't done any exercise though, but has lost I guess 50 +/- #'s...I've been trying to motivate her to start using the treadmill they bought MONTHS ago! At least today she admitted that I was trying to guilt her and that she was going to have to start so I wouldn't beat her! Anyhow, THANKS everyone for letting me share in the challenge---every day I looking forward to seeing how many miles I can get in, and to see our collective effort to "shrink" GROW!

Way to go, TJW! You're really racking those miles up! Congrats on breaking the plateau!

I got in a 35-minute walk and 25 minutes of Pilates today, so I'm adding 3 miles to the total.

I think we're still missing some people on the list. At least supersized and fullfig... maybe more???

I spend 20 minutes breaking ice off my car and getting all the snow off it. It's a convertible and I was worried about the weight damaging the roof. Blech!

Supergrl is going to be MIA for a long time so she's not on the list for now. I'm sure the rest will show back up!

hey, ladies. i kept getting kicked off last night every time i tried to post. hopefully, it will go through this time. i've not im'd with supersized in a few days, so i'm not sure how much she has exercised. before the crash i had posted 7 miles. since then i have logged another 11, for a total of 18. i am still sore 2 days after doing pilates. idiot me did the pilates tape twice. i've been using my walk-away-the-pounds tapes and richard simmons' toning tape, in addition to starting pilates. i have other tapes, but tend to start out with watp and rs toning tape, as they are my favorites. i will get on later to log how much i accomplish today. you are all doing so well. i can not remember who else we are missing, maybe kim and jen? have a great day ladies!

May I join this challenge? I really want to start my exercise program and maybe this will motivate me. I am going to be doing Pilates which will earn me approx 2 miles according to the rules? I also have a 2 mile WATP video.

I will let you know on Monday if I accomplished anything!
Wish me luck.

Congrats to all of you who are so faithful with your exercising....I wish I had some of your determination.

Come on in Jane! "The more the merrier!" Also means LESS MILES we all have to do--- ( I didn't say that ).

Being conservative here, as did more like an hour, but I'm counting just 1 mile for having been out shoveling snow...

Stoopid weatherman, yeah right, we're only going to get a TRACE to possibly ONE INCH....yeah, sure....already at least 2 inches and still coming down....and GUESS who didn't get to go pick up feed yesterday??? Hope it stops soon, and that there's actually grain left at the feed store when I CAN go! Unlike me, the animals NEED their groceries!

Edited to add in more miles for today! Add 4 more for a total (so far) of 5..will be shooting to get more in later
