I have a weird question

  • If bodily functions bother you don't read any further.

I don't really count carbs, but over the last 19 days I have eliminated sugar, white flour, and "diet" food from my diet. Its been wonderful, I have come out of the sugar daze feeling wonderful. I eat mostly meat and vegetables. After my 30 day detox I am planning to include nuts and some fruits. I have to be careful with those in paticular citrus fruits, because I have actually binged on them before.

Anyway my pee (going No.1) has changed. It looks greasy to me, like you can almost see the oil haze on top. Is that normal?

So far this food plan is working from a weightloss standpoint (12 lbs gone, more I think but ne weigh-in for 3 more weeks).

    Thanks for your responses,
    Miss Chris
  • I've noticed a different smell to my urine for sure and the concentrated color but not the oiliness. But then again I wasn't really looking. It is significantly different from when I am on a low fat/ high carb diet. Just never something I noted details on. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

  • I check because of past UTI's. But its not more concentrated (I usually drink 3-6 L of water a day), just that sheen on water. Thanks for your response Jamie.

  • ive never noticed any oilyness to my urine but defintely to the other. I guess it is all the meat we eat.
  • I notice oilyness on occasion. I've never had any health problems associated with it though, so I haven't worried about it.

Hmmmmmmmm..... something new to research? I'm excited!!!
  • Yeah I haven't had any health impact either. Long sigh of relief.

    THANK YOU!
    Miss Chris
  • Can I ask what your signature means?
  • I sent you a PM to let you know.

  • I haven't noticed a change Miss Chris but then I spend most of my time at work and never really got that close to the bowl to look some days the smell is stronger but nothing horrible, I figured its just a chemistry change in the body (usually monthly whore-moans ;0 ).
